"If I'd have known that, I would have stopped him. We all know Ron wasn't in his right mind." LMFAO. Well damn, Stephen Jackson!

I think there's more to that story that us fans aren't privy too.

I love Stephen Jackson, one of my favorite players of all-time... the man made his own way in the league... make money, lose money... the man did it his own way and should have 4 rings just based upon keepin' it real because he made his mark on the game when it mattered most during his day. I love Stephen Jackson's professional game... the Spurs could have kept him on and should have had back-to-back with Stephen Jackson just doing his thing. If I were a GM during his time, I would have made him one of the top players with his contract, just putting him on the forefront and keeping him in his own work so he can make his mark better.

Stephen Jackson- this dude was the real deal. I have lost so much respect for watching the NBA. It’s sad that this generation of ballers except for a few care about winning. Lebron, Steph, KD, Kwahi, and Westbrook - that have pure heart.
@KeithCarey337 жыл бұрын
Great baller. Wow. Can play and dominate at his age. Impressive.

True G right there. Stephen Jackson is EPIC! Would knock any of these current NBA "Softies" out any day! XD
@momoneylessproblems91835 жыл бұрын
That's the difference between the modern NBA and the NBA of the eighties and nineties. When Magic lost to the Celtics during the REGULAR season he'd seclude himself for days and wallow in misery and anger. Bird would do the same when he lost to the Lakers. Opposing teams HATED each other. Every game mattered and every loss was taken personally. But today? Harden shits the bed in the PLAYOFFS and goes clubbing afterward. Dudes back in the day would cream today's players.

So basically Pop coaches like a HS or College coach but he can get respect from NBA players.
@TheSteve11267 жыл бұрын
And this is a compliment to Pop he is one of the greatest coaches ever at any level, the guy knows what he's doing and players respect that

I hate how basketball players say guys from where we're from and that narrative. Not everyone is from the hood or in bad situations even if they're in the hood. Stop making this rich racist owners thinking they made you. NBA is modern day Mandingo fights

@EddyGirón-r4k7 жыл бұрын
+To all Tehui1974 has a point. Jackson said Westbrook should be smarter than that, like Jackson was smart enough to avoid getting involved in the worst fight the NBA had. Yes, if Tehui is a lad, he has a good eye than some older people.
@jonf99897 жыл бұрын
Tehui1974 you have no Idea what he have done in a NBA.. Cap jack is a big time underrated player... he is more clutch than lebron when comes to game winning shots!!
@kylemonsterdrywallfistbump59484 жыл бұрын
@@jonf9989 as a spurs fan even i know your comment is non sense. Stephen jackson was good but very inconsistent. He's not more clutch than lebron also. He needs other players to create open shots for him while lebron has to create everything for himself.
