​@Syhbw Lebron James is a paradox. He was a great player in his Prime (mainly due to his size and Athleticsm), but he is also one of the most overrated players in NBA history. If you look solely at his Resume, you'd think that an All-Time Top 5-10 ranking was warranted but if you actually watched his game on the court, if you seen HOW he filled that Resume, such a ranking is difficult to justify. Why? He has so many flaws in his game that cannot be masked with Longevity... Firstly, his fundamentals and skill level are subpar. He relies on his size to bulldoze his way to the rim committing uncalled offensive fouls left and right. He has very little creativity, offensively and defensively, his game appears incredibly predictable, it's either uncontested layups, uncontested 3 point shots or the same dunk over and over again. His footwork is atrocious, as is his free throw shooting. His shooting in general is inconsistent and unreliable outside 3ft, something which has been amplified on countless occasions in clutch moments, especially when the lights are at their brightest. He has no mid-range game, his post game is also subpar. His defense is inconsistent and has been mostly underwhelming, especially given his size. Secondly, he has displayed incredibly poor leadership on the biggest stage on several occasions, when his teammates needed him the most. More often than not, he crumbles in big moments. These flaws are obvious to anyone with an objective eye who has watched his career. His longevity is impressive but it's also aided by him feasting in a weak Eastern Conference for 15 years, which explains his 8 straight finals appearances. Additionally, he plays in an Era where load management is rampant and the rules favour the offense, to the point where defense is almost non-existent! Then there's the team hopping to join other All-Stars in his quest for rings but STILL ends up losing 60% of the time on the biggest stage. As I said above, a great player in his Prime due to his size and Athleticism but when it comes to any Jordan comparisons, he is massively overrated. There is no GOAT debate. That number 1 slot was cemented in Utah after the Last Shot, on June 14th, 1998.
