@naicee2978 a lot of ppl do not believe in heaven. There are ppl that believe we don't have souls that continue on. There are ppl that believe our energy continues on but not in the form of a soul and stays here on earth. And a lot of ppl believe we only have this one life and we truly die and our bodies just go into the ground and there is no afterlife. It's OK not to understand others beliefs. Respecting them is the important thing. People need to focus on living a good life that they can be proud of and if heaven is the afterlife, they should go there regardless of beliefs as long as they were a good human being.

Also, I'm glad that you guys mentioned about the huge nunber of civilian deaths, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan. Could you imagine if this is how they treated their own soldier, what they have done with innocent civilians there? The soldier who died alongside Pat didn't even get a passing reference or acknowledgement from the government. His family was destroyed, too.

My dad did multiple tours during the Iraqi war during Obamas time in office. Obama was sworn in and not a full 10 minutes later my dad got his assignment as they started work towards ending it. He was in Afghanistan and Baghdad during my childhood. He was the same way, it changed his life. The things he saw he quickly realized that “this is a job” this is no longer “Doing the right thing” He struggled with this a lot over there and it still follows him today.

What if that guy helping them HAD been a Taliban? What if Pat had been a hostage? What if they killed a hostage? This whole thing is bs. No one should have reacted out of fear and started blind firing. This was an avoidable accident.

Pat was straight up murdered through three headshots from 3 meters away in broad daylight in an organized hit. This was to keep him from being able to meet Noam Chomsky and speaking out about how the war in Iraq was purely for oil, and that the real country behind the 9/11 attack was Saudi Arabia.. but they couldn't target them because they're an ally in the region.
