I see myself so much in Toni and what she went through. My ex husband was so abusive that I woke up one night to standing over me with a sledgehammer, laughing, saying how easy it would have been to kill me and my youngest son. I had the same extent of mind games played. Made me think I was crazy. I doubted my ability to do anything. I cried so much with Toni’s story. Please have your family know that we, those of us that are trying so hard to climb out of our own personal hell, we see Toni when we look in the mirror. She was such a beautiful woman. Radiant and kind. Im so sorry for what your family has gone through and continues to go through. This is breaking my heart.

@Anna Kate Bertolet I’m so sorry for your family’s senseless loss to a likely pathological, narcissistic man with ASPD (IMO as a clinician, though I do not diagnose online, just a guess based on long term behaviors). I do not want to be trite…so my words and true sentiments: I am sending you all love, light, and strength through focused meditation (based on my beliefs, I hope this is okay, I feel all good thoughts sent out are helpful). I wish I could alleviate your pain. Grieving is not linear, allow yourselves kindness and care, lean into the love you have for each other ♥️♥️♥️

I am so happy his daughter is free from him. I couldn't even imagine what he would've done to her if he hadn't been convicted... she would've had a hellish life with no freedom and who knows what kind of abuse she would've gone through. His conviction truly saved her life in my opinion.

Agree 100%. He was already so controlling he was making her physically ill. Had she grown up with her sicko bio dad controlling her and not allowing her to grieve she would likely have rebelled in some (probably unhealthy) way when she hit her teens. God help a rebellious girl who is under Henthorn's control.

so true. That might be another reason as to why Toni stayed with him, even after the first attempted murder. I'm sure she was scared for her life and was afraid of confronting him directly because he might lose his temper and attack her or even hurt her daughter. So she might have needed some time to come up with a plan on how to get away from him. I'm sorry you had to go through something so horrible. I wish you all the best.

My friend and I were supposed to have a Christmas dinner together, but her phone wasn't accepting calls, and I didn't think of texting her because I didn't know they would go through if her phone was off, and I'm not much on texting unless it's important. I just used Messanger because both my phone and my nephew's were turned off. And my texts weren't going through.

You've never tried to call/text in a rural area. It can be hit or miss now--I was meeting up with my parents in Dale Hollow and after I got close to the lake, I was able to get one text from them before every call/text I tried failed. Fortunately, I found them without too much trouble. And that was in this summer (2022).

Paramedic here! When you’re in hypovolemic shock, there’s two stages: compensated and decompensated. In the compensated stage, your body is making up for the blood loss by peripheral vasoconstriction and raising your heart rate and respiratory rate, however once your blood pressure drops, your body is in decompensated shock and stops trying to make up for the blood loss, leading to brady cardia (slow heart rate) and agonal respiration’s, which are the slow and shallow breathing right before someone dies! Hope this helped explain the hypovolemic shock process :)

Hearing about Haley living with her mother's family and changing her last name made me want to cry, because I was so happy for her and so sad for her at the same time. It takes a real monster to rob their own child of a parent. He really just did not care about anyone but himself. It's just...it's truly awful to sit and think about it. No matter how many cases you hear where it happens, it's always so shocking to realize when people just don't care. Of course, it should be shocking. People should always be horrified when it happens. God forbid we ever stop caring.

On the topic of Harrold listening to phone calls, my ex husband was similar. When we got married he was so angry that my friends didn't bring wedding gifts that were to his liking, prosecco wasn't sufficient and the gift my friend ordered specially from Etsy hadn't arrived. So, he screamed at me for hours and then demanded that I call them all to have a go at them. He wanted to listen to me. So, i went into the garden to make the calls. I turned around and he was in the upstairs back bedroom with the window open watching and listening. Fortunately, my friends instantly knew I was doing it under duress and all said "we know this isn't you and it's him making you do this. Are you ok? Is he listening?" It was awful. For months he would berate me about my friends who are all so lovely. I must mention that the only friends he had at the wedding (2 + there few month old baby) were heroin addicts, and they didn't give us a wedding gift.... Yet my lovely hard working and we'll educated friends were the bad people... Btw, we didn't even ask for wedding gifts. He just desperately wanted absolute control over me so wanted to isolate me from my friends. Fortunately, when I left him there were still there for me as they're truly marvelous friends. I'm so glad I left him, but it was scary as he was an addict and was so angry he was foaming at the mouth when I told him I was leaving.

He made sure I didn’t have an identity anymore. He told me I would fail without him and that he needed me. I didn’t even think about breaking up with him. Many who haven't experienced can't imagine why people stay. My abusive ex flipped a heavy solid wood nightstand which stopped inches away from landing on my small dog. That's what it took for me to leave. She saved my life in that way & many others. He convinced me nobody else would ever love me. Holes in the walls, manipulated me with being "suicidal" when I tried to kick him out of my house, physical assault, isolated me from friends...but my dog was my baby and the last straw. My mom is 92 and she still gets around really well for her age but she was in a car accident thee years ago where a disk in her neck got smashed and the nerve damage in her neck has really affected her hand where she can hold things and she was too old for surgery. My daughter bought some of your CBD product for her for her pain and mobility and she started crying, we all got worried that she was still and pain but she was srying because she could finally stand up right and she did a little dance and moved her hands we were all a but a sobs watching how happy she was so thank you so much for what you do.

These insurance companies should have a new policy for if someone raises the stakes in a drastic manner, they need a witness from outside the party or maybe even a subtle update to the cops or something. At this point it's getting ridiculous the amount of true crime cases where some *mysteriously dies* after a sudden policy increase!

I just find the whole car situation so odd. They said she didn't have any dirt under her nails so was she unconscious before he kicked the car? How did she get under there? Not only would it be incredibly painful for her to crawl under there which she probably wouldn't have done but I'd assume she'd move very slowly because of the pain. It's not a lot of time to walk around to the trunk so she probably wouldn't have moved fast enough to be completely under the car by the time he "threw the tire in the trunk." I hope they do more investigating to bring Lynn justice.

This reminds me of Malcolm John Webster (born 18 April 1959). He had also 2 wives and never made a cent in his life. He staged car accidents to kill the women in his life. It took a long time to catch him because he moved from Scotland to Australia and the police haven't been suspicious for a long time.

One of the weirdest things, to me, about the story he told about Toni is that he said "when I looked there was a blur and Toni was gone," which to me implies that it was just when he happened to look back and not that something drew his attention back toward her, but generally speaking, it seems to me that most people falling off of a cliff would scream or make some amount of noise.

I’m not sure why I didn’t try your products sooner but I’m so glad I did! I’ve been struggling with my anxiety hand depression the last several months more than usual. I always do in the winter but never this bad… I took two gummies the night I got them and now one in the morning and one in the evening. I haven’t been this productive and calm in months. I cried happy tears today because I was able to get out of bed and function. Not only that, I got every errand done that I needed to today. I’ve never been able to do that even with my anxiety and depression meds. If you haven’t tried their products you need to! I will forever be regular customer. I’ve tried different brands but nothing has compared to Higher love wellness oils and gummies Thank you guys for getting me out of my rut! ❤️ also congrats on the little one I’ve been hoping you guys would have a little one for years now and I’m so overjoyed you guys are finally gonna be parents.
