My wife has an Fi exhaust and downpipe on her RS7 which sounds amazing. The car is silent when the valves are closed, which also eliminates drone, but when the valves are open it gets very loud. We paired them with a DME Stage 2 tune for a complete package.

That is the same colour as my A3 8P. Merlin purple, in the light it's a bright metallic purple 💜 but when it's parked in the garage it looks much darker like a plum / black colour. So far I am the only person I've seen with it here in BC Canada 🇨🇦. Love that colour!. 🙌🏽

So glad you picked up this RS7. I am an Audi/VW/Porsche fan boy, lol. I have owned Audis, TTs, SQ5, S3, RS3 and a few others. Owned many VWs including newer GTI and Golf R. They always are faster than rated and surprisingly over deliver based on cost. I recently bought my first new Porsche a 21 911 C4S last September, awd twin turbo 3.0 flat 6cyl. Porsche rates it at 0-60 in 3.4....... ha, the C2S (RWD) nails 0-60 all day long in 3.0 seconds dead. I am easily able to nail 3.0 dead in the summer all day long. Best time I have gotten so far has been a 2.79 on a cool 58 degree night after 20 minutes of just regular driving "must have warmed the tires 0 spin, complete hook and go" as any weather near 60 degrees or lower during a launch the with the OEM Ultra High Performance Summer Pirelli tires , it will spin all 4. Again, big fan of this RS7, your R8 "I am the guy from NC who called trying to buy it after seeing your first video shopping for it where you were "in the video , unsure", they told me it was sold, had a deposit on it, lol "you obviously". Can't wait to see what you do with this RS7.

I actually own that RS7 that's wrapped as a "Midnight Crismon Bloom"-not blue and it's by CKWraps. I have downpipes and a stage 2 Unitronic tune with lots of snaps, crackles and pops. I love it.

The lack of violence is what surprised me about those S/RS7’s! You just mash the gas and you’re doing 100 mph. Doesn’t even feel like your head is being snapped back, you’re just there 😂

APR/DS1 Stage 2 and/or larger turbos changes that quite a bit. As does race gas/E85. These things make a shitload of torque. Not uncommon to get sub-3s 0-60 times out of them.

personally, as an Audi guy I think you have the right color for the RS7. At most I would say make sure the paint is correct and then get it PPF'd. Don't they have a clear wrap that kinda gives a matte finish? Other than that I would say get the right wheels (maybe a deep bronze look) and then find carbon bits for the outside.

Army green... and i want to give you an exhaust tip: go for Novitec or a Militec. Those are exactly in your alley when it comes to sound. Not cheap, but from what i got told those are the best combo with an Audi RS.

Black purple At present you have a fast but quiet car , neighbors love you ,wife loves you, daughter will love it and not be inbaressed ,but you will go and make it unbearable and annoying,to be cool . Gloss hypnotic black violet. I had mentioned Panther Black on your first video of the car, which has a purple tint to it. The violet black will stand out without being loud and would look great with carbon fiber mirror caps, black trim and black wheels. I would definitely go with that, but its your car of course so your decision.

Get the driveshaft carrier bearing to get rid of the jerky feeling you can go with JBX or SRM ...comfort mode raise the car height ,dyamanic lowered it and tighter suspension..you can change how you want to drive it in settings which can change mode automatically when driving

I’m getting the oil screens replace by Audi this week on my RS7. I’m so glad they finally made it a recall because otherwise it costs $220-$2500. That’s money you could put into performance!! Congrats on the car!

You should try another dealer, I literally just call my SA for same recall, they were able to get me in next Tuesday. And yes 2 days job if they don’t see anything failing. My SA said they are going to do a turbo diagnostic and make sure they are within spec, if not they will open a warranty case to claim the turbos while at it.

May I ask, before you put in a tune and change the exhaust will you do a Dyno pull in order to understand the original power numbers, because you may already have an mild tune. Also, these engines eat spark plugs, if there is high mileage on the current set, change them its makes a big difference to overal performance and drivability. Regards Dave Porter, London

I will fill you in Mike. another issue with Audi is the cruise control. If you are traveling down a two-lane highway that is separated by a median and if you dont pass anyone in either direction for let's say 5 to 10 miles. You will get a fault warning on the dash and your cruise control will kick off and won't work again until you either stop and restart the car or drive for a while 10 minutes or more to reset. Audi does not have a fix for this. We couldn't get our 2018 A6 fixed during the 3 years we owned it. Crazy!

The oil screen isn't just an Audi thing, My Taurus has them but I only replaced the one for the front turbo and that was just when I replaced the turbo at ~220k miles. Maybe Audi selected too fine of a mesh for the screen?
