Rezaric , i agree , i feel sorry for his daughter and wife and the rest of his family ! the people who criticize him are sinners also and things could get worse for them , they'd better shut their mouth because life could become even worse for them ! There are too many cold blooded people out there that think they can point the finger , they better learn to be humble !

For all those claiming he was murdered, from what I understand, since he was in the appeal process when he died he technically isn't looked at in the eyes of the law as a convicted killer and is now entitled to his NFL pension, signing bonus, and any other money that is owed to him. He was a horrible person but he did something to help his daughter and her future

Have you had a love one murdered? Or have you ever love someone who committed a terrible crime? I have, Its two sides to the coin, and each is devastatingly sad. I know hate and anger can consume the ones left behind. It can continue to destroy a family way beyond that persons death. I'm sure members of the friend he killed family has forgiven him. So to u all cheering his death, why? You are so far remove from the situation to have such a strong" opinion". Clearly, Hernandez couldn't forgive himself. The decisions he made brought a lot of sorrow to his family as well. He had plenty of time to think about what he did, and I'm sure he was remorseful. My point is, every murderer isn't a 'evil person'. In which, to ME, makes his story as a whole a TRAGEDY. So instead wishing death or mocking someone's death i pray for them instead. Like MLK said, hate is too heavy a burden to carry.

The hardest thing for a real man to do is the right thing for a man to do, he failed that when he killed another human being. Next, if you cant do the time, dont do the crime. He failed there to. He was a selfish man not to think of his wife, his daughter, and his family.

I wont be surprised if aaron hernandez's gangster friends never visited or wrote to him in prison and they were saying "he's stupid for still hanging out with us, if I was him I would not be coming back here and being around us". Be careful of the company you keep they can destroy or make you better. Strive to want more positive out of life.

For some reason this guy was ALWAYS in my head of someone that I would like to interview one day. Normally I want nothing to do with murderers but what made Aaron Hernandez fascinating to me was that HE HAD IT ALL. Tons of $$$, playing for a prestigious football organization, beautiful wife and daughter. I just wanted to know WHY? WHY THROW IT ALL AWAY?

What people sometimes forget, your body can be out of your environment but your mind may not be. I've experienced this with kids who I took in and placed into a better environment, better school, better living then where they came from, but their mind was still back where they came from.

Hernandez owe himself an apology he couldn't accept. He had a lifestyle that lead to both places he endured, one forever. Not a waste of talent but of legacy but not memory. He is a son, a brother, a nephew, and a cousin, and someone's friend. RIP Hernandez. He owed a debt and with his life he paid it...prayers to all involved.

Very tragic to all involved. This group discussion has the most validity and credibility because you have to look at history of an individual to understand his/her behavior. Children learn what they live and when they reach adulthood those negative influences can be their demise. Anyone who gets a chance to better themselves in life should move forward to higher standards.

it's crazy to me I'm 28... this dude was 27... he had it all... but he couldn't let go of the hood.... to think that this man was a year younger than me and he had it all... he murdered someone threw his life away and then couldn't deal with the consequences so he took his fate in his own hands... I don't pity the dead... but I do pity his situation... he decided that jail wasn't going to keep him... that was the only freedom he could see...

Kat Angel Did you comment the same thing after he killed Odin Lloyd? I'm guessing..no lol. So let me get this straight..Because he killed himself you have sympathy for him. I'm sorry you FEEL that way. Truly disturbing that a man is murdered and because he didn't play football..or wasn't famous..people have no sympathy for him. But because Hernandez did he deserves to Rest In Peace. Amazing how some people's brains work.

Rico Muerte I still don't know him outside of sports so its kind of irrelevant for me to watch. I am ignorant as it pertains to his back story, so it would be pointless for me to listen to a one sided opinion and try to judge this man based off of what some sport analysts say. Because this is bigger than sports as you said.
