Then he turned to them and said: 'What has made you wish to be present in a place that Allah ﷻ has kept you absent from? You do not know what your circumstances would have been if you had been living then. By Allah, certain people living at the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ have been cast down by Allah ﷻ on their faces into Jahannam (Hell-Fire) for they neither answered nor confirmed the Prophet ﷺ. Why do you not praise Allah عَزّ وجَلّ since He brought you into being when you only know your Lord and confirm what your Prophet ﷺ brought, since the people before you faced trials in Faith from which you are saved. By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sent in the harshest state in which any Prophet was ever sent - during the Fatrah (pause in the line of Prophethood) and at the time of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic Ignorance) when people did not believe that any Deen (religion) was better than worshipping idols. He ﷺ came with the Furqaan (Criterion between right and wrong i.e the Qur'an) by which truth was distinguished from falsehood with it, and a father was parted from his child on the basis of Faith with it, until the one whose heart Allah ﷻ had opened for Eemaan (Faith) found his father or his child or his brother as an unbeliever (kaafir) and knew that they would be thrown into the Fire if they died in that state. Therefore his eyes were not cool since he knew that the ones he loved will be in the Fire. It is for that reason that Allah ﷻ said: ﴿‏وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ﴾ "And those who say: _'Our Lord! Assalam Alaykum I loss my Revert Muslim Husband Tariq Shabazz/Sebastian Reyes 04/09/2022, that had practice Islam thirty plus years to the streets. He was raised in Brooklyn New York, he had times where he had backslid. This last time and my first witnessing this was his downfall I loss him to crack and gun violence. Now I’m loss with which way do I turn. Do I continue what little I know about Islam or go back to my old religion. He was my only teacher, I feel ashamed to seek help or is it I feel it’s to hard for me. I still pray both ways, and I’m alone in my grief. Please those that read this message, offer Du’as or prayers which ever you practice (Christianity or Islam let me be specific). I was incarcerated and was born into a Muslim family, I served a few years in federal prison and it was the most amazing time and experience I have been lucky enough to live. The community of Muslim black brothers who at the time I arrived at the prison had already served more than a decade and some two decades and subhanallah they knew the deen better than most Muslims and even my myself. What prison does for a Muslim is amazing for these brothers. They knew the deen Better than most scholars, they didn’t entertain anything other than what the prophet pbuh sunnah left us guided by the hadiths only accepted by scholars across the gloabe. Everyone of them had a noor that would put most us Muslims to shame. I pray to Allah that he may Guide us all that noor in piety
