I feel that not all those serving in the British armed forces don't get enough thanks for their service. From the regular forces to SAS/SBS, I thank them for their service. Hats off to you, Big Phil. Cheers. I'll buy your book one day.

People hating in the comments obviously have no idea what it takes to enter the SAS.. Psychopathic? Maybe. Sharp minded, intelligent, super human level fitness both mental and physical, brave? Definately.. As others have said, we sleep safe at night because of these guys.. if you dont appreciate that you must have sub par IQ levels bros, i cant understand the needless hate

With the knowledge gained, the Government highlight you as Dangerous! Sometimes to adapt to Civvie Life, the Skills sometimes overlap. That's your R.V. Reality Check! Phil is a Man's Man, with Core Values! He was always ready to have a "Cabby" with anyone on the "Lines" He has a vast knowledge, gained through experience on the "Job". A Man at your side you can depend on. There is no lying in him. His farts smelt the Canopy out that eventually caught the back of your throught, but you would say they smelt of Rose's if having to "Honk" to his face. He was already a senior member at the time. Good luck to you Phil! And thank you for all the Charity Work you do for us. Kind regards From one of Needhams lads.

@Wilbur Wafer I wouldn't send a "Normal" Person to do a Job, when I would feel safer sending a Lion 'Psychopath", to execute something a "Normal " Person is just not willing to do. We are born for War and Conflict. You are born that way or you're not, and sometimes the system pushes people that way. Like Soldier Ants are naturally born. We are a bread aprt. It's however sad that we are left on the scrap heap, but wanted if there is a War. We don't "Honk" we adapt and find a way out of the Pen. We play a Grey cover, waiting amongst those we are willing to lay our lives down for. It's our nature and humbled for the true core support the British Public give. We feel, sometimes embarrassed to ask for help, but a Moral Boost to know the British Public are there for us too. Civvie Street is like a Jungle that we have to learn to adapt to all over again. From a British Veteran

@ADAM STEELE If they were stuck in the Iranian Embassy with gunmen pointing their weapons at them , or sitting with their families in a plane in the desert after flying a few days around the M.E.with an inside temperature of 60° plus a few Palestinian "freedom" fighters, they'd be very happy I think to know an SAS or GSG9 existed. These 2 cases were rescues of hostages. They were not fighting any war.
