Like in professional sports, where the best of the best inspire the youth to follow in their footsteps, do you think the British Armed Forces recruitment would benefit from employing some of the ex-SAS big celebrity names (You, Billy, Ant, Staz, etc) to aid in Army advertisements?

Great show! Q: How dangerous is the jungle training in terms of big animals? For example being possibly hunted yourself by big cats etc, or is the jungle used chosen not usually home to these and would cracking a few rounds off be the norm if an attack by one was on the cards to scare them off?

@@ForceRadioHQ Ok here's a question. I've watched loads of the podcasts with Phil and other high achievers in the military. They all joined young - 16 to 18. What routes are there into the forces for someone older, say late 20s - early 30s? What roles could they do? Could they make it in a SF / Elite unit?

Why would you not regret f*cking up and getting kicked out? It was a premature, ignominious end to what could have been a long career, and you suffered mentally from it. If you can't look back and regret that, then have you really grown from it? Only a narcissist has no regrets.
