As always, Mr Gorry, an excellent explanations of a case that I know nothing about - not being resident in Ireland any more (but 100% Irish, born, bred, raised, and educated to University level..!!) This Lynn fellow seems to be a bit of a "bad egg"...but he'll be able to write a book entitled "Brazilian versus Irish prisons - a detailed overview" and it might make the bestseller list..!!!

Considering the charges and the story of the investigation and trial, I think the members of the jury might feel a little insulted to be described as his peers.

I often wonder how people like this pass their law exams. Not the smartest spanner in the tool box. If he had stayed , pleaded that he was a victim of the Celtic Tiger gone mad. That the banks didn't do their jobs. He would probably have walked and kept the house.

He was supervising the building of his mansion while on bail awaiting sentencing. Will be out in 2/3 years to enjoy life in it
