@@gary7vn President Carter was unjustly demonized by the media for suggesting Americans "wear a sweater" during the energy/oil crisis. The same media didn't even give him credit for the release of the American hostages in Iran. After his presidency, Mr Carter wrote 2 books on the apartheid of the Palestinians; those whom were interested, listened to him.

As a non-American, I have a naive question : Is it impossible for Americans to get rid of the two party system? It seems to me that the system is harmful not only for the rest of the world but also for the very citizens of USA.
@keyser021
@keyser021 6 ай бұрын
Yes, impossible. America exists to engage in war profiteering. Since the inception of the CIA in 1947, the 2 party system has been the primary means of constructing straw men arguments and political fall guys to ensure forever warfare worldwide and to ensure the NDAA remains a tax payer blackhole slush fund to enrich those who are in on the grift and to exclude and control politically, financially, and militarily those either opposed, unaware or powerless to affect any change. This is how you have people on tv aghast at the invasion of Ukraine, amnestic about Iraq/Afgh/Libya/Syria, silent on the genocide of Gaza, clueless about the 800+ US bases occupying countries around the world and the billions and billions and billions that are stollen from the producers and given to the grifters in exchange for fuzzy feelings of "security". Never going to change.

@@patrick707100, why do you need the support of the USA if Israel right to exist is legitimate? Do you know any country that to exist rely on outside power? Do you think the US is still the only superpower? They with ALL their NATO countries just lost to ONLY Russia in Ukraine. And Russia and China are making sure the US will be weakened and SOON. Plus the 450 millions Arabs and 2 billions Muslims will recover Palestine GUARANTEED. Israel will either be dismantled peacefully like South Africa or will destroyed and RETURNED to its real owners the Palestinians in less than 15 years. If I were an Israeli I’ll live before it’s too late particularly Israel is committing genocide of the real inhabitants of the land, and thus ironically making genocide acceptable when supposedly it was established on OTHER PEOPLE LAND cause of Jewish genocide by the Nazis. Ironic, no??!! As such Israel has made Jews vulnerable to genocide once again. Therefore for their sake Jews must not only condemn Israel but DISASSOCIATE from it INDEFINITELY. Cause if you live by the rules of genocide then expect genocide will be revisited on you, logical no? This is not a wish, but actually to help you avoid the price to be paid cause of Israel. Be an American Jew, French Jew, Arab Jew etc…forget Israel or go and establish in an empty land. Btw, since God gave you the land you say, why did he not an empty land but instead to had to commit several genocides against the Canaanite tribes including the Amalek and surprise surprise “the philistines”, ie the PALESTINIANS, as written in your Torah. Incidentally it could be the Nazis were inspired by the genocides in the Torah to commit the holocaust, cause it’s I said if you commit genocide others will commit against you. Oh and clean the Torah and the Talmud of the several genocides in them and burn those pages before they will burn you.

Clinton did the most in bringing peace between the Palestinian Liberation Organization and Israel. The PLA (as it was known back in the 1970s and 1980s) had performed countless attacks on Israeli civilians. The PLA started the second Lebanon civil war and was forced out of Lebanon because of it. But even Clinton said that it was Yessar Arafat who was the one who would always change his demands and stalled the peace talks. And what these pro-Hamas media around the world would NOT tell us, is that it is HAMAS who has been firing rockets at Israeli women and children for YEARS now. It is HAMAS who has been DEMANDING a war with Israeli and their leaders have been PUBLICALLY calling for the death of ALL Jews around the world. They have been doing this for YEARS. That is REAL genocide. You also do NOT know that 20% of Israel's population is PALESTINIAN. You do NOT know that PALESTINIANS serve as police in Israel and they can own land and businesses. There are also THOUSANDS of PALESTINIANS serving in the Israeli military. YOU DID NOT KNOW THIS because these pro-Hamas media are lying to us and controlling what we see and hear. The media has turned many people around the world into terrorist supporters.

Lot's of jobs lots of drugs and live rock n roll 7 days a week. Lot's jobs cheap loans for cars and houses, Vietnam was over and I lived in paradise. Then came the fall of Iran Carter did nothing, then came the Arab oil embargo Carter did nothing then Castro had some 400 thousand criminals and mentally ill he wanted to get rid of, and our supper stupid moronic idiot Carter said on national TV "We welcome you with open arms" I picked up my TV and almost tossed it thru my mothers front window. So we had a massive crime wave in south Florida, and Carter offered no help at all to Florida. And to this day the Cubans that were here before the boat lift have called them merioleto swime. Pigs Then Gas went from 42 cents a gallon to 1.25$ in just few months, A loaf of bread went from 29 cents to 1$ Most of my friends lost there jobs. So the government came up with gas rationing, they used what you used a few years earlier, So Miami and Florida got screwed again. 2 hour waits in gas lines and some times you only got 5 gallons of gas. Inflation at 15% a interest rates on a loan for a house went form 8% to 16%. And all the time our energy companies were sending oil tankers to Japan from Alaska. While the USSR expanded it's influence all over the world And when Reagan won by a landslide Carter Cried on TV while I laughed.

His perspective on Power is quite unique having sat in the Oval Office. He should know. In his time, he also had a problem with Islam and the Middle East in the form of the Fall of the Shah of Iran and the Student/Shia Clerics uprising which culminated in the capture of the US Embassy in Tehran and 52 hostages being taken and held for 444 days. Perhaps since he was a man privy to a lot of internal information, (clandestine operations and US involvements) he was probably more aware than most of us about the Coup that the US and Britain led against Mossadegh in 1953. That may be why he was not so aggressive as (Reagan) would have been to restore our Diplomatic post. Maybe Carter knew too much and it weighed on his conscience. He was a man of Conscience most of all. That is a terrible weight any Leader has to bear, a handicap really that few modern Leaders concern themselves with. Perhaps Carter being in charge left him two options then, to use force or to (tacitly admit) that the Shah was in fact a repressive force imposed on the Iranian people and that the US and AIOC vanquished all sense of personal freedom in Iran for the sake of control and wealth, oil wealth, lot's of it. Carter was not a man that sought wealth or power. I genuinely believed that he sought to create a "better world" in spite of the fact that much of the US's power was based on the opposite. Now that he is almost gone, and his Great Love has left us, I fear that too few men of honor and conviction are left in the world to save us from ourselves and each other. Once upon a time, I thought that he was weak and timid and should have been the (aggressor) one to retake our Embassy even at the cost of so many lives. But maybe he knew that the reason we were put in that position in the first place was because of the Naked Aggression Policies of the 1950's and 1960's by Presidents like Truman, Ike, Nixon and Johnson. (Ironically I don't include Kennedy-and possibly that is why he was assassinated?).

America had so much potential. We were equipped with everything we were needed to take a stance against what's going on right now. We were taught to not be a bystander, to not buy into mob mentality, to always research and find reputable sources and not buy into misinformation or bandwagon. We have history to learn from: the holocaust, apartheid south africa. And despite being equipped with all these tools, we're still failing completely.

If you want to go back and research about our history with south Africas apartheid government we were WITH them ESPECIALLY the Israeli government who sold them weapons to use against black indigenous people there. It behooves the Israelis to cozy up to these leaders in South Africa. Who do you think is running the diamond mines there? I personally met Israeli diamond merchants on the Greek island of MYKONOS. Jackie Onassis lived with a married Orthodox Jew who was a diamond merchant. She continued to receive the eucharist. No priest, bishop or Pope is going to tell her she can't because she was a huge donor,$$$. Ivanka Trump advertised in an uppity orange county magazine selling her own brand of diamonds a decade ago. The answer lies in the American political system which depends so much on rich donations from wealthy American Jews who plough millions in to both major parties whilst backing lavishly any new politician who agrees with the Israel agenda whilst attacking savagely, any new politician who refuses to push the Israeli agenda. But beyond that there are millions of slightly deranged Evangelical worshipers in the south who back Israel both financially and politically unconditionally due mainly to the lies they read in the fictional piece called the Scofield reference Bible. Please read up on the Scofield Bible written by Syrus Scofield. ! Beyond this Israel exports to over ninety countries around the world weapons and training on how to suppress their downtrodden populations. They are experts in this field since they have over seventy five years practice pummelling, bombing and suppressing their own crop of guinea pigs in Gaza. Israel is the best thing that ever happened to despotic regimes throughout the globe.

This is an old recording. President Carter had ascertained the true picture of the ongoing Nakba or Catastrophe which has been going on since 1945 at least. The Jewish people were kindly accommodated in Palestine as they came from Hitler's genocide called the Holocaust. Shock horrors the U.S. allowed Israel to become the State of Israel. They all know the full truth. It is a terrible Injustice that the decent, docile, gentle shephers and farmers have been robbed off their lands and are today being bombed and killed in Gaza and West Bank.
