Former Uvalde police chief released on bail after arrest over 2022 school shooting response

Pete Arredondo, the former school district police chief in Uvalde, Texas, was released from custody after posting a $10,000 bond, according to the county sheriff. Arredondo was arrested Thursday and charged with 10 counts of child endangerment over his response to the 2022 mass shooting at Robb Elementary School. Taxpayer money was used to train, provide weapons, ammunition, bullet proof gear, helmets, communication equipment to this police chief. He is incompetent, inept, a coward and a failure. He needs to be sued in civil court and tried in a criminal court.

Child endangerment? Wouldn’t that charge fit the teachers and administrators? they failed to secure the school and endangered all the kids! They did not follow state protocol or procedure and instead had the school wide open. Where is the accountability for the school?
