This was amazing, I just got in to speedrunning this and you just executed many timeskips I didn’t even know existed flawlessly! Major props to you, all tho I gotta ask, why this specific order on the mission? Why not just go mission 1, mission 2 and so forth and so forth. Like I said, this was amazing, and I’m looking forward to trying to beat it, haha.

This category is the original any% you're allowed to play chapters out of order as long as chapter 1 is done first and chapter 16 is done last. I do chapter 9 first because it features 2 of the hardest skips in the game.

So I don't have that many skylanders and I wanna try speedrunning giants. Out of these skylanders, who should I use? Whirlwind, Lightning Rod, Jet Vac, Spyro, Pop Fizz, Chill, Trigger Happy, Cynder, Prism Break, Terrain, Hot Head, Eruptor, Tree Re, or Stealth Elf?

If not flameslinger, I would reccomend stealth elf for movement.

Probably not that useful in a speedrun but.... there is a glitch in giants with whirwind i found where if you use the cloud attack immediately after cancelling the flying button, whirlwind will be in a glitched state and be able to move at the same speed as flying while also having the controllability as the grounded state. the glitch also looks ridiculous and you can make whirlwind moonwalk with it the glitch is also in spyros adventure too, but the execution and result are different; cloud attack and then fly move, you will be in flying state with full control

Spyro no doubt. Flying or doing head charge seems to be the same speed. You can shot fireballs to quickly turn while flying, and head charge will push blocks faster. Though idk how fast Whirlwind, Lightning Rod, and Trigger happy are. I imagine Whirlwind might be decent but not the fastest. If you find her faster than Spyro use her. Tree Rex or Hot Head on Junkyard Isles or any wall/giant only heavy levels. Tree Rex seems to be the fastest at least for me. Pop Fizz can do a puzzle skip on Molekin Mountain. Overall just see which Skylanders can do what the fastest for you. Try doing solo Skylanders on each level to see if they have any cool skips they can do. Otherwise, if you feel like buying anything you'll need to at least max your speed stat with heroic challenges (if you want), get Swarm, Flameslinger, and Drobot. That's gonna be around 50$ probably.

This is All Story Levels which requires a completed profile. Any% is from a fresh new file, but it is slower.

@@assassinglx theres really fast ways to get money for upgrades if you have played all the way through trap team. Every time you beat kaos on that game you can get 10,000 gold or more. And then for Superchargers kaos drops lots of experience.

Your opinion on the matter bares no weight because speedrun communities all agree to use Glitches (within bounds). A cheat is a modification of the games code, and are banned everywhere. These runs are NOT done on a modified game, they do abuse Glitches though to save time

idk exactly, but it has to do with crushers rockslide move bypassing the invisble walls and riding it upward, idk how exactly but it involves the controlled rockslide ability on crushers bottom path being able to do this you weren't meant to do

He does the hardest/most reset heavy levels first so if he messes up he can just reset. He can also do this because this is ASL (All story levels) where you can complete the levels in any order on a previously completed file. I hope that was useful

He hits certain pieces of geometry with crushers rockslide ability. The rockslide ability does weird things with crushers speed and hitbox allow him to hit the railing and a certain part of the platform allowing home to get ontop. Then he walks onto an invisible wall and walks through the top of a door. I you have any questions you can join the speedrunning discord :)
