A state that can make full use of the Danubian river for transportation would definitely be one of those things that historically sadly didn't happen... Well I guess with the EU it's perhaps a possibility now. Though this makes me wonder if they'll eventually introduce canals as an extra infrastructure option, it's certainly a good alternative to railways in a fair number of places in the real world.

As some may know historically in 1864 the Russo-Circassian war ended which started in 1763.
