Idk if it was intentional but he ended up being the last piece in completing their solo activities. 9 months since GOT7 left and we’ve been blessed. As an IGOT7, Youngjae absolutely did that!! Imma be honest, my fav got7 member is jay b, BUT i have to say that youngjae’s album is definitely my fav from all got7 members’ album so far. Ars pen never disappoints me. This song fits him the best and i LOVEEEEE how he not going like so damn hard for the choreo and focus more on his vocal tone as he should! daesung of bigbang, han of stray kids, junhoe of ikon, not to mention soloist iu and even jackson from got7 are some names that come to my mind in a second when thinking of unique vocal powerhouses and distinct voices, whose no one can match. I know you like youngjae, but that's not a fact in a million years, that's your biased opinion. It's harmful for other new kpop fans to say something like that, like he's best of all time, and disrespectful for other idols who work hard and do stand out. It kinda feels like there’s two stories in the video: story 1 is the scenes where he’s dancing and smiling with the girls he’s crushing on while story 2 is the more sober scenes where he’s by himself or with a phone. To me this reads as story 1 being the picture of what he wants in his head while story 2 is what he’s actually doing in real life

Maybe, especially since they show him drinking too in an almost frustrated and let down way. As if his expectations weren’t met after going to the actual location of the person he’s been trying to reach. But he’s still moving forward and Vibin’ instead of being sad. It kinda reminds me jokingly how younger millennials/older gen z ( or the people like me who are in the middle and cusp both generations) deal with heavy emotions. We have a mental breakdown and then 5 minutes later we’re listening to music and singing along trying to make ourselves feel better. It’s our way of coping with the overwhelming stress and emotions. We just dance/sing the pain away. But I could be thinking of it too seriously lol.

Youngjae explained in his reaction to his MV that: "the girl was already leaving, in the end, he comes but he wonders where did she go and wanted to play with her but she is gone. The girl was kinda upset and didn't answer the phone so he was angry and drop the phone (in the industrial set). Then he wonders if he should just play by himself (the part where he dances with the dancers) then he realizes she isn't here and leave with his car and say fine, don't want to play with you ... It's something like that, I roughly translate and resume it ^^ I don't know if it make sense / if it' understandable

As an ahgase I do have to say the two solos that surprised me in concept were Bam’s and Youngjae’s. I was expecting something along the lines of ‘Believe’ and ‘Party’ for Bam. Like a chill r&b party feel with a lot of autotune. Then for Youngjae I thought he was going to go for a ballad but maybe he didn’t because he got to be in a musical earlier this yr. He maybe wanted to change directions after doing that. He also always mentioned wanting to do more vocally as the main vocal. Regardless the fact that Got7 has remained booked and busy while being on hiatus as a group is not common and amazing. Most groups wouldn’t have all had something going on consistently and individually. I think they did have things planned out so they could do many things before finally coming back together again. Even though they often joked they didn’t know what Bam was doing or what another member had planned. I think they finally had to time to think about what side of themselves they wanted to release. It wasn’t something given to them to release. We’ve come a long way from that dreadful time in January where we all so unsure of the future and were sobbing in showers listening to ‘Wave’. I couldn’t imagine my world without Got7 and I know many others feel the same. Youngjae really is the last piece and holds the group together. Now I’ll go cry over Got7 crumbs and vibin’ challenge interactions.

This song is so catchy, you can't help but move when this song comes on. The entire album is amazing. The different vibes he gives us with each track! He is credited on all seven trackes, 6 as co songwriter and composer ad with Eternal, he wrote and composed it himself. He is finally getting the opportunity to show his vocal range to the fullest and he absolutely slays on this album. Every song is a fave, depending on the mood I'm in when I listen to it. I would love to see your reaction to the album. Youngjae did mention that the video is him driving to meet his partner, trying to get hold of her on the phone but to no avail and when he eventually gets to the motel, she'd taken the phone off the hook and left already.

Like, he planned to meet a girl at the hotel room, but he took too much time to call the girl and get there, so, when he finally called, she didn't answer and, at last, she left. As for the music video, the way I see it - He's either in from out of town or he just got back. So he stops by the side of the road to confirm their meetup [at the warehouse.] He gets to the warehouse after nightfall but no one's there. He contemplates calling them but decides against it and after waiting a bit, gives up and leaves for a hotel/wherever he was staying. The phone off the hook tells me the person either tried calling [albeit in apology] or he just doesn't want them calling at all. The dancing/smiling scenes would be how he envisions the relationship or rather how he thought it should be like. If the general theme is vibin' it's likely that he (the main character) believes that things should flow naturally in the relationship and that all the effort shouldn't be one sided, hence why he doesn't want to talk to them after they never show up at the warehouse- it isn't worth it because they weren't vibin' after all. I say 'they' even though the lyrics might indicate a romantic relationship, but it could apply to others as well.

Definitely loved the song I think it brings out the charm of Youngjae's voice perfectly. He explained that he put some easter eggs/ hidden messages in the mv which he hoped we would find like the sign in the beginning says Auto Repair Services which is sort of an acrostic poem of his alias name 'ARS' , the number plate of his car is the debut date of got7 and the signs in the diner dance scene say "tasty" which is his b-side and "come and get it" which is got7's official introduction

Was waiting for you to react to Youngjae! Actually it's funny because my favorite member is JayB but just like yours my favorite solo releases were from Youngjae and Jinyoung. Youngjae's album is just fantastic, he really delivered all those different colors in one album. Also, you had actually reacted to his solo music. It was from got7's lullaby album Present you where all members had their solos and Youngjae's was Nobody knows. I remember you were really impressed with that song and his vocals. He did song called Gravity for their last world tour. Also, he has been always uploading some songs in his soundcloud under the name ARS just like JayB (DEF.) and Yugyeom. He also has been doing some osts. This song is so perfect for Youngjae and it has such a good vibe that it's impossible to not like this song. About the music video storyline I actually didn't even notice that there are those ''sad'' scenes in a hotel room. But after you mentioned it, it kinda makes sence that this music video has a deeper meaning. It can be like that because Youngjae was always the member who always seems to be the happiest from all the members. This is why his nickname is sun, but he also has a moon side which is a more serious and sad part of him. Most of his solo songs are actually sad, so Vibin is a really refresing sound for him.
