The fact that Masta Wu is credited for this song makes it so much more nostalgic in a way. Definitely an OG YG hiphop song. I love this.

For sure!! Their dance performance was ridiculously good!! I fell in love w clik clak aftee that. I honestly am a skeptic after 1st listen on YG artists new sounds like, on top of my mind, bigbang's bang³ was one of those, but bbb grew on me eventually as i try to digest it hehe

The performance video has even more attitude. This song/dance is perfect for when they have the world tour concerts next year which I believe is what YG was going for.

They just show how much farther & more vast their capabilities, flexibility, & potentials are in comparison to their seniors respectfully. YG struck absolute gold with them and have the highest possible ceiling in company(and maybe even industry) history. Who knows ....... only time will tell. Like it or not is subjective, so far, Clik Clak earn a quite good response except for those hard core Hip Hop listeners. I like / enjoy this song more after I see their dance performance. I understand why they arrange with 2 YG parties change up at the end, if it is for on stage concert purpose, then it totally makes sense. Most of the agencies try different concepts in every comeback, is like a lab experimental project, nothing's wrong wif tat, but end-up it could turn out a hit or miss situation. You may not agree but i think nmixx is a good example, they have good vocals, music taste, but not every song turn it into a BIG hit. If one company can keep their music color as their identity, they already earn my respect. I would say BM find their own color with this Full Album, whatever you feed them , they can digest and present it well to you. CAn't wait for their world tour next year.

its literally a known fact that XG is literally a copy of YG. that's why YG owns and manages a portion of their company.

@@Lalalala07 oh i thought YG denied that, but good to know
@Lalalala0712 сағат бұрын
@@kyxz018 yeah there are a lot of middlemen so its confusing - they are definetely not a YG group by any means but influence is there. YGE Japan is affiliated with AVEX and XGALX is a sub-group of theirs. That's why when they are promoting in Korea you might recognize the YG building in the background. and YG artists which generally never openly talk about other label artists talk about XG more openly

The lyrics of the song bother me. The choice to do a filler word hook (my word for hook with a lot of the same words) and let the hook be more than half of the song is REALLY weird. The raps in "Sheesh" had the same issue. Just write lyrics... and don't let them rap "Charge, charge, charge.... large, large, large.... boss, boss, boss....." and so on for like 40 seconds of a 2 minute 50 song. It's probably not due to lack of writing skill, because 6 writers worked on this song..., but a really bad choice imo.
@kiriel092 сағат бұрын
I agree with you. I don't mind the lyrics themselves, but it feels completely inauthentic to have this group sing/rap them. More than half of the group are literal underage children. What money are they spending? What drip do they have? What grind are they on? It feels like adults are dressing them up as gangster rappers and it's REALLY weird.
@herrjemeneh368Сағат бұрын
@@kiriel09 Yeah, you are right. So much about this song feels out of place. Ironically I like the song, but 15 year old Chiquita rapping about how she is walking like a boss and living large is kinda weird.

@eeeeerp10 сағат бұрын
I think it's the repetitive parts that could've had real lyrics. I was expecting all of them to have rap verses, I mean not just purely the hook part. Although I kind of anticipated short parts because of how short the song was when it was previewed. But it would've been better to hear more from other members just like Rami's.
