This game demo was my first exposure to F1 as a kid. I was hooked the moment I heard Walker's commentary, and it still holds up to this day.

Hard mode was ruthless in this game. But my god, what an amazing game. Also, Murray Walker will be sorely missed.

AI on hard mode is no joke when you get near the front of the pack.

only in dry condition. AI is hopeless in wet

Not just simple a god tier player what we can see here but this is very important because of archive purposes nobody makes this video content from this era. Is this proper 16:9 because menu doesn't look stretch either and we have barely any graphical glitches?

He is using a emulator that adds the lacking part of the aspect ratio by calculating the position of the geometry out of the window. as you can see the 2d parts as sprites and ui letters are stretched widelyas they are impossible to recalculate. Also this emulator uses an algorithm that simulates parts that the original PSX didnt have as a software based z buffer system and perspective correction and subpixel precision, which makes the graphics clearer and less woobly So it looks better than your usual PSX emulator, but in my opions it doesnt look better than an original PlayStation connected to a good CRT tv though

@@miguelelgueta5830 what you say is very outdated. crts are almost instinct. I have more old lcd flat-screens that crt tvs. I don't think you have it too. It is not really worth it to get a hold of any of that, and you know what can we call 'good crt' and then pay for those high end models ridiculous prices, ah fam, no thanks. I know this emulation only available as a libretro RetroArch core. I know how bad can look a stretch menu, but here I really don't see that, yes I see yellow boxes aren't really boxes but the numbers look good, no real graphical glitches around menu. But fine I get it, the core itself makes this look like this, but I'm sure they made some fine tuning to this.
