For thiosulphate, first make formula of sulphate (SO4^2-) and replace one of Oxygen atom by Sulphur. Means S2O3^2-. Thio word is used whenever Oxygen get replaced by Sulphur.

Tetrathionate can also be explained but it requires knowledge of structure of ions.

Atomic no -10 is noble gas. Neon. Noble gases are inert (non reactive). So it does not form ion (ate or ite)
