I think the car will be built fitting the driver that is best at translating the drivefeeling to the engineers. Checo just can't do this as good as Verstappen. Witnnesed this in many different teams the last decades. It's not only about the driving. It's also about translating thecthings you experience to engineerspeak. And that's the way you get a car builtvto the specs of one driver....

Of course it’s engineered for their first driver. I don’t feel like anyone has ever said that they didn’t. The fact that Checko can’t adapt to it is a problem. Max is way more adaptable driver, so even if the car is garbage he can still be finishing no less than six the whole season. It’s partly Red Bull’s fault and also partly Checko’s fault

I'm not an engineer by no means, but if the governing body says everything on the car is legal, then the car is legal. If Redbull, Max and Horner think there is something wrong with the car. As the team that dominated 21, 22 and 23, I can see why they think McLaren is cheating some sort of way, but think of Mercedes in their dominant era with Lewis and Nico leading the entire grid by 30+ seconds or more. McLaren have found pace and people are losing their minds over it. Close racing is GOOD racing.

It was not illegal. Otherwise, it would have been banned outright. It is a problem that could easily be rectified just by banning drs or standardising it. Red bull had a drs that gave them a massive advantage at 1 stage themselves

1:22 the mini DRS was outright banned, but not after they got a significant advantage from several races. The flexi wing specs rules have been changed for the 2025 season.

😂😂 You have to be new to formula one. They don’t always ban things that are illegal. Sometimes they adopt them into the regulations set or make rulings more clear. Red Bull didn’t have “a DRS that gave them a massive advantage” they had winglets on the rear diffuser that reduced drag when DRS was open. That’s much different than having a rear wing that is so flexible that it opens on straights when you were never allowed to use DRS in the first place. There are clear rules against how flexible wings can be and they’ve been heavily enforced since Lewis cheated with one in Brazil 2021. If you can’t see the difference there you must have like 10 IQ.

@Agdem_ I have been watching f1 since lauda and hunt, so hardly new 😂 red bull trick drs gave them 15kph advantage until they were requested like mclaren to stop using it. Every team on the grid looks to bend the rules. Red Bull and ferrari have always been the biggest offenders

@herruu2499 yes horner has openly bragged during the Mercedes dominance that they saved money by not taking the fia or opposition teams to court to get things banned. Instead, they go to the fia demanding clarity, and the fia react. They did not deem mclaren rear wing illegal, but mclaren took it upon themselves to stop using it

Plain for all to see that the implemention of the asymmetric brake system rule affected RB as they rejoined the pack. So Max is doing a Karen on McLaren when his ride for the 1st part of the season was also likely illegal. Strange its not being addressed by content creators on the F1 circus

What are you on about? Max is very open about criticism of his own team and other teams. He calls out his own team and himself when they make mistakes. But you have to understand that part of this sport is the give and take of interpreting the rules. It is both a sport of drivers who push every limit, end of engineers who push every limit. If they’re pushing too far, the rules get adapted,if they don’t push hard enough, they get left in the dust.
