I love that Micheal is taking us along with him on his journey. It can’t be easy to listen to all of us. But I do agree with a lot of the comments. I think the problem stems from him being so strong that naturally he tends to use muscles once his adrenaline or excitement picks up during bowling. This cause his backswing to get to high and doesn’t allow him to stay on balance or release it consistently. By the 3rd game you can see he managed to lower this backswing which helped him to not overthrow the ball and stay more on balance. I say this because I constantly struggle with something similar though I’m not jacked like he is. (I’m a comicbook artist) And I do have a PBA card so I’m not a beginner but I’m also not elite either. Love what you guys do and love both of your content. Thank you.

220 seems to have a really "closed" body position throughout his swing, it's why he ends up sideways at the foul/foot angled like 65 degrees. Imo gotta simplify into balance and approaching the line with an open stance before thinking about changing releases. Some things might fix themselves if those two things were addressed.

Hip rotation variations is the issue. Sometimes his hind leg at foul line is behind the front one (hips @45°), sometimes it is hovering in air over the left neighbor's lane (hips almost @90°). Hip rotation variation at foul line is affecting the shoulders rotation, which affects the swing direction -that's where the random gutter-shots are coming from.

Impossible for me to pick my favorite movie of all time because my favorite move of all-time list is LOOOONNNNGGGG. So, I'll give you 3 from that list off the top of my head without thinking about it, take note I'm an 80% disabled veteran: 1: Midway (1976 not the new one) 2: Green Berets 3: Kelly's Heros Give us the scoop on Pam i.e. how do you know her and how did she come to be on your team? Only asking out of curiosity. Pam's main problem as I see it in these videos she's not following through on her release she's more or less just dropping the ball kind of, she stops her arm motion once the ball comes off her hand and she needs to keep her hand behind the ball all the way through her swing motion then at the bottom start to rotate her hand and follow through after she releases the ball. Next, yes, she needs not just a new ball but the right ball for her game type and PAP. I'm sure you're going to help her through all that process, yes? Brown Bear vs Siberian Tiger that would be a close one I think you can give the edge of speed and agility to the Siberian Tiger and give strength and power to the Brown Bear, and they almost cancel each other out to close for me to call I think it would depend on who got the upper hand over the other first is who'd come out on top and that could be either of them. Crazy to me that one week Michael's backswing is tames and it looks so good, then the next week its back over his head and he's throwing gutters...is he just not wanting to dedicate to the new form or what? Ok after watching the end of the video, I do see he dropped it back down and it looked much better the end of game two and game 3!

Pam would benefit from a wrist brace and some simple foul line drills. Michael shouldn't work on "new things" during league. Changing your game is done by drills during practice sessions, never when you're bowling for score.

For Pam: definitely a wrist support as most ladies' wrists have a tendency to rotate outwards. Also, her timing could be better. She gets to the foul line pretty much standing up and a bit ahead of the ball, so she's stopped and when she releases the ball, it drags her off balance, making for an irregular release.

Love the league nights! Pam needs to practice with a coach working on her approach. She falls off her shot consistently and if her approach was better would help her bowling. Keeps 'em coming guys! Edit: Forrest that pocket 7-9 reminded me years ago in the same game left two 8-10 splits throwing from the left side.

Its not so much that the release is bad its just his swing is very high in comparison to his practice videos in turn it causes him to muscle the ball slightly making the release not as quick and also making him loft the ball slightly which causes the ball to hook later. I could be slightly wrong but this should be it.

When 220 keeps the backswing lower, he has much more control. Once he gets that really high backswing going his timing is off, he falls off to the right, and his rotation is not good. I know it’s a struggle, but that’s the issue.

I believe Pam should throw a backup. From what I can see her roll looks like a backup would be great as long as the new ball is drilled for it. Move left and throw backup, great for bowlers who has issues maintaining a strong wrist
