PBA Televised 300 Game #35: Jason Belmonte

Jason Belmonte vs. Kris Prather in game two of a best-of-two match to determine who advanced to the championship of the 2023 PBA Tour Finals. Belmonte's 300 forced a roll-off, which Prather won. Belmonte became the first player in PBA history to bowl three televised 300 games and the first player ever to bowl two in the same bowling center.

@jessem6124 My logic has always been that it shouldn't matter whether you use one or two hands to throw the ball, the goal at the end of the day is to roll the ball down the lane and knock over all the pins. If people can't accept that some prefer to use both hands to throw the ball rather than just one, than that's their own problem to deal with, lmao.

I cant believe his opponent's using a pitch black. I can use one on a new lane but the second the carry down kicks it the ball just stops performing even on nice pocket shots. Im not a fan. I might try the nu blue hammer.

I picked up a bowling partial scholarship in college. One of the great aspects is it being a no contact sport and you are always playing against yourself. The scores will always rise as you got better "threading the needle" far more consistently. I was always able to learn quickly one things were explained clearly to me.

I always thought we never saw the whole bowling event. Which would last HOURS. That was the thing about when ABC televised; there was 90 minutes for bowling, so the extras didn't get shown. Nothing's changed. What happened after the game, WE DON'T GET TO SEE.

BTW, I also bowl with Storm equipment, but have not had any new balls drilled since my Invasion and HyRoad in 2011, my previous Storm arsenal was a Vertigo, and an Ace (both of the X-Factor series) Ihad drilled in 2005 after switching to Storm from another company (Ebonite, 1989-2004), what would you recommend for me that is the 2023 equivalent of the Vertigo and Ace??? I like to pipe it down 5, 6, or 7 and "let the ball do the work" as Bo Burton used to say. A lirrle bit of swing area would be nice, how 'bout it???

Prather was looking like a sore loser there towards the end and he didn't restrain his frustration like a true professional should at times. So yes I would agree to an extent that he could've acted far more sportsmanlike and at least acknowledged his opponents amazing game

Tgat was an entertaining match between kris and jason and jason becoming the first to get 3 300 games on Tv that's amazing, and good win for kris making it to the finals after the roll off, also why did kris not try to win 1 game to go to a roll off and kyle winning this tournament again? What's the point of kyle winning this tournament if him and belmo aren't even close for competing half the tv titles this year, also what happened to the tang brothers? Are they dead? What's happening this year in 2023? And why so we have to wait another month for the next show until next year in january comes for more tournaments? Is the pba dead?
