I had no clue any of that was hidden along the river. Just shows you that there js so much to explore in Cambodia.

It's crazy, and a real pity the cafe has closed. It had the same name as the bridge, so now I am assuming that they constructed it. Nice, quiet place to visit.

Awesome - A Lin and I explored this region two years ago. We were at Ta Som and went exploring for fun and came across both the bridge and dam gate. So uncanny. Beautiful little isolated area. However, there were other people at the bridge when we were there. There was also a little stall selling drinks
@ForRiel9 күн бұрын
That's great you were there! It's a real pity the cafe closed as it would have been amazing to sit and have a drink next to the river. I was surprised that the river was so wide at that point. 😊☕
@stevenorthwood84119 күн бұрын
@ForRiel we didn't see the cafe either. But there was a little stall on the same side that you parked your bike right next to the little hill in the shade.

How'd you find it? Satellite view searching? I need to do more of that! It was right there next to the huge lake, I'm surprised I missed it. I guess working 47 hours a week means I'll overlook some things 🤭✌️
@ForRiel9 күн бұрын
The Facebook post was in Khmer so I put the whole lot into Google Translate. From there I could isolate the name of the bridge, then I put just the name into Google Maps and went from there. Why are you working 47 hours? You're supposed to be slowing down here! 🤣

Hi Claire, I am a UK citizen who has 5 years experience teaching TEF in Morocco . I also have a Bachelors degree from Australia and Graduate Diploma in Education from Australia in Biomedical Science plus my TESOL qualification Now back i UK on state pension of 900 pounds per month but my rent is 850!!! What are the chances of living off my UK pension and is it possible to work at age 70 in Cambodia. Love your videos they are very inspiring.
@ForRielКүн бұрын
Thanks so much for watching our videos! You will be fine with 900 GBP here - that's roughly $1120 USD - we live well within that amount and don't really limit our spending at all. You could always do a bit of English teaching online to supplement it, but you wouldn't be relying on that income, which is always nice.

Wow a spot in Cambodia without any trash and plastic materials. Great find !!!
