I've recently added an aftermarket amplifier, sub, and replaced door speakers. My door chimes, backup camera, touchscreen beeps, etc are all now super loud due to the gains on the amp. In addition, there is always a high white noise floor for these beeps to operate on while they are no activated. Is there a way to turn down the overall volume of these features through Forscan?

I believe there is a way. Same thing happened when I upgraded the rear speaker of my Bronco. I'll have to figure it out and post a video in it, too.

What year is your truck? Mine is a 2019 Platinum and the displays in the dash look different than yours. I've been trying to see if there is a way to make the rear camera stay on while you're driving. My 2012 used to stay on until you got up to 2-3 mph and that helped when I was hooking up a trailer and I wanted to be sure everything was OK before I got to far.

He has a 2015 which has SYNC 2 which is the older version compared to SYNC 3 in the 2019s. You can change it your SYNC 3 settings. I forgot exactly what option it is, but there's a "Delayed Reverse" option and it lets your camera stay on til 5mph. Forscan wont make it stay longer unfortunately

@@iMakeDatBedRock Awesome, I'll check again but I don't remember seeing any option like that. Right now it shuts off just as soon as I take it out of reverse :-(

@@MonacoMike Give me an update. It should be on your display screen I believe under the "Vehicle" settings option. You must have your truck on though. I've had mines off since I bought my truck, and I recently found out about it and it makes it a whole lot better whenever parking/getting out of tight spots

Great video. Be nice if Ford let us display actual oil pressure psi above the gauge instead of just the dummy H/L indicator. They let you display actual numeric temperature above the coolant and oil gauges, what’s so hard about the psi

I noticed your transmission gear indicator is always on. Is that a mod you did or does your truck just have it showing all the time?

You can turn it off and on by pushing the + button on your shifter.

Can we change the start up screen animation on the instrument cluster to somthing different or at least use up the whole screen like the 17+ superduty, its wierd that the f150 only use up half the screen, i have an 18 f150.

Ricardo, Didnt you have one for FORD 2017 (2105-2017) that when you go from reverse to drive the rear camera would stay on for a few seconds in drive?

@@ricardosworkshop Thanks Ricardo. I think I had changed it on my truck but have no record of it. I thought It was on your videos. Regardless thanks. Got an oil change due so was putting stuff back to original. Only freed up navagation map at high speed and the rear cam. I dont think they will notice or say nothing about the cam.Again Thanks. If I do find this I will let you know about it (cam in rear extended time).

LOBO is how f150s are sold in Mexico, FORScan has a specific setting to switch to Mexico f150 and allow it to display that.

Thanks for the upload. What do you think about the odblink ex verses the older elm modules with the toggle switch? I have a toggle switch one and have been thinking of getting the EX. Their description of the ex says "enhanced features" but didn't go into details from what I can find.

It's just a basic vent, phone holder. Off brand probably. It honestly doesnt work that well. I don't use it much.

I have a 2016 Lincoln AWD 3.7L V6 with sync 2 it seems like the individual tpms for each tire and digital speedometer and many other things available in the tech package can be turned on. The cluster is a screen after all. I took it to Lincoln and they claimed it couldn't be done but sometjjing tells me that's not right THOUGHTS? Thanks also I wouldn't trust myself to do it and I don't have a laptop only tablets

I would say yes. As long as you have the modules, a lot of it should work. It's not as hard as you might think it is. But I would definitely recommend a laptop. You can do some stuff with a tablet/phone.

Only on my second oil change. The dealership told me that it is intuitive based on driving habits but that seems like a stretch

They are right. I drove from Texas to California once and my oil life % changed very little. Driving around town it effects it much more.
