Your BAH automatically goes to the housing office 2. Your deposit can be used to cover cleaning cost when you move out. Con: 1. Your housing area is based on your rank and BAH automatically goes to housing. Example: Your BAH varies based on rank and housing is provide by rank cluster (Company Grade, Field Grade, GO Level). You could be placed in connected single family home next to a family that is the same rank, one grade lower, or one grade higher. However you BAH(i.e. rent) could be higher or lower for the same exact style and sq. ft. Unit.
