To be fair, naming posts after traitors was pandering to rebels who lost their war against the USA. Confederate officers didn't fight for the USA and don't deserve to have their legacies remembered in the USA. Compare that to GEN Cavazos, SGT Johnson, LTG Moore, CW5 Novosel and other heroes, leaders, and Medal of Honor recipients who are now honored. These names make way more sense and better reflect the importance and history of these posts. The only one that doesn't make sense is "Fort Liberty". What a lame name, they should have picked a paratrooper or SOF soldier to represent "the home of the airborne and special operations forces".
