Mordhau, which started as "Slasher" is made by Triterion which started as a bunch of dudes who happened to be game developers and also played this shit out of chivalry. Mordhau, is honestly made by chivarly nerds who wanted to make a game improving best parts of chiv and get rid of the worse (Reverse Overheads/rainbows, beyblading, excessivenmatrixing/wessex drags, etc). They did this because Torn Banner were lazy and didnt ever improve the games obvious faults after the first year resulting in a player base that was dwindling with hardcore regulars and blew up during sales. New players though all stop playing when they kept getting killed by said hardcore regulars with the cheese movements. Mordhau is a passion project made by chiv players for chiv players. Along the way though, that passion project also turned out to be a well made and thought out game.
