I like it, that even that nuclear looking pilot light was animated on to the amp. Back when the amp released, I contacted Fortin, If they could spare me one of those dimmable jewels, but they refused. Fortunately after some digging around, I identified the part, it pretty much costs a fortune for a little light, but at least I know it is available :)

Awesome little demo. Really got me wanting to buy something from them now lol. So how do you deal with all of the noise when using such high gains? It looks like the gate isn’t quite containing it. Is it something in post? Or maybe that signal noise doesn’t really come through in the final mix?

Its a very nice plugin, elite tone for metal. Also CPU friendly, it takes like 50% of amplitube5 demands on my system...
@dreammachine868 ай бұрын
I think the NDSP stuff sounds so much better for high gain metal tones than Amplitube 5. Don't know if I'm doing anything wrong with Amplitube or if the NDSP stuff is just that much better. I only have the Archetype: Rabea for now but very tempted to get another one in the current sale... Oh and that makes sense with the CPU usage...Amplitube seems to take a lot longer to load up, and more likely to get clicks/pops when my PC is struggling with the sample rate. Hopefully the new system I'm getting soon will help with that!
@Snare98 ай бұрын
@@dreammachine86 Same here Bro, Amplitube spikes kills my CPU, i even sent a mail to IK about it today... I got new laptop, with better processor and amplitube 5 work is getting worse;p So i dont know... is the device the case:) Now i played couple of hours on Nameless and i see whole different culture of work. I can record with much lower buffer, CPU ussage is constant... Amplitube is big, try different Speakers/MICs...made huge difference for me... and i found these two VSTs might sound pretty familiar, when you set it right the main sound difference is in high mid sparkles and bass response ...And Its just amplitube raping our computers ;p

In addition, the effect is that they sound very similar to each other. I tried on several guitars (all have EMG 81/85) Can the fault be on the cable side? Sound card?
