A really fun tech choice Ive seen for this deck is to include some x antibodys alongside leopardmon x antibody, cause if you attack with a level 4, you can digivolve to a 5 and THEN into the leopardmon to then play something for 7 or less for free and get a really aggressive push out. Plus the x antibody could allow you to take advantage of fortitude in a pinch

Also if played right you can get Bancho out for free with both its own effect and Leopardmons

A couple of things I use with my build; I use the Panjyamon from BT11. Free tamer drops and if you have another stack out and, say, your HeavyLeomon dies and fortitudes itself, it gains rush. Another funny tech I use is T.K. and Izzy; most of the time the de-digivolve + the -1k dp is what you need to bottom deck level 5 digimon.

A fun perk for anyone looking to get into the Leomon deck is that a lot of it is VERY cheap. Most of your staples are like less then a dollar, bancho is still under 2$ with the only stand out being heavy seems to be spiking a bit at the moment around 6-8

Quartz seems to be a bit anti synergistic with the over all gameplan of the deck since you want to be attacking. I was leaning more towards chaosmon but I know we've got the new DNA one coming so I guess quartz works as a strong generic level 7 til that releases

in my profile, im running more full sets of the lv4s, and some floodgate Terriermons for certain matchups. Leomon X is also hilarious with EX5 Leomon and Elecmon underneath. Swing at sec/crash into a bigger body, De-Digivolve 1 twice, play out leomon, digi into a lv5 to get rid of whatever is left. Also X Antibody is great to reenable Fortitude on your lv5s and HeavyLeomon

I saw a decklist from aomeone who got 1st in Croatia and they were running the old green Frimon that gives 2k inherited if an opponent has a suspended digimon and Pulsemon with a security effect to suspend oppenents digimons and i like that combo a lot. Also debating on the new Pteromon since it fives a free 2k dp inherit since searching isnt an issue at all with the new Elecmon and Liolmon

Merukimon can be fun as well cus anytime a fortitude is played back out it is considered a new mon so if you have a heavy leo stack and a merukimon you can potential get 5 swings in one turn

heavens judgment at 2x copies is really good, i have found through testing it can fairly easily out things that cant be outed by just flashy boss punch alone.

I found Flashy Boss Punch to be about equal or sometimes better than Heaven's Judgement in the long run. First, FBP's Security effect is just objectively superior to HJ, no question. It's a better defensive Option as it can shut down an attack while removing the attacker, which can be critical to winning the game. Second, with the Main effects: while HJ can do -18k DP minimum and -24k max spread out or concentrated, which can out wider, smaller boards or one big dude, 99% of the time, you're going to have a Leomon of some kind on the board, and anything that didn't get one-shotted by FBP will usually be taken out by the subsequent Leomon battle, unless it has battle protection.

No, any card that says Digimon may attack must still adhere to regular attack rules like summoning sickness and being suspended

the best part is this deck basically counters Anubis. My friend and I tested the matchup and out of 7 games, i maybe lost 2

Salamon doesnt work because all Leomons are Beastskin not beast

Beastkin still counts as beast. It can technically be used to grab things with the Dark Animal trait or Four Sovereigns trait as well
