As a C1S3 OG, I think chapter 3 had the best map overall. It kept the quality of life improvements from chapter 2 but fixed how dull the map felt, going back to a more chapter 1 inspired vibe. Plus it was before they went full realism with the graphics so the art style, albeit altered, was still there. It’s just a shame that it got cut in half for the sake of moving to yearly chapters, I would have loved to see the “Mustard cut” (if you will) of chapter 3.

Holy shit are you me? I have the exact same opinions to a T, except I started a few weeks before season 3. Chapter 3 is so damn underrated, Epic cutting it in half to rush out a UE5 map and abandoning Mustard’s vision caused irreparable damage to the game

I agree the first two season of chapter 3 were really good as well as the map however the last 2 season you can tell were rushed in way to destroy the map as quickly as possible in order to make way for chapter 4.

As a guy who started in 2017, Chapter 3 seasons 1/2 had my all time favorite map. Every location was to fun to play in, the biomes were varied and balanced, and there were even good examples of environmental storytelling which I LOVE. It felt like a perfect blend between the Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 maps

I have a theory the theory is The Last Reality are coming back here is evidence to that so last season in one of the updates we had a wrap that had Last Reality symbols on it and new cube skins were added recently, in Remix the Prelude when Snoop Dog put in the Remix season we saw the Nothing as graffiti because we saw a TV with an eye on it drawn by Hope and this same graffiti was seen in ch3 s3 and then the season after the Nothing was introduced in Bytes quests, in ch2 Remix we see Chaos Director and a style for her when you take off the mask shows the same Chrome color, we also saw Chrome type themed instruments in the music pass, we saw in the Spaghetti Grotto graffiti of many things drawn by Hope and one was the Nothing as there was a TV drawn, the Cuddle Team Leader head from Rave Cave came back in ch5 at the end of it but different before we transitioned into Remix, the Herald boss sounds or voicelines are in the files again I'm pretty sure, and the ch3 s4 map was added back to the files and yeah so I think we will see The Last Reality return in ch6 and well Hope can see things through her art so Charlie and Fortnite seem to be cooking up something with The Last Reality most likely this is just something that we may actually see and I think in ch6 we will see a brand new mode being ch3 returning which will continue ch3's story from where we left off

Hate to break it to you, but the reason why the Chapter 3 map was added back to the files is because there were flags for assets used in Reload that referenced the Chapter 3 island, and some of the references accidentally pulled the entire Chapter 3 map into the files. The Chapter 3 map was removed in the following update. I think it's gonna be an all new map, and all of this was just coincidence. Which is a shame, Chapter 3 is my favorite chapter haha

One thing I don’t see any Fortnite KZbinrs, leakers, or storyline analysts mentioning is that in Season OG, Slone mentioned that everything we do will “ripple forward back to this moment”. So I think that we will go back to Chapter 3 this year in some way (either as Chapter 6 or as an OG season), and next year we will be right back in Chapter 4, where we might come into contact with Slone again. Especially since the designs on the Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant in Ch2 Remix has Slone and a couple references to The Last Reality, who we had been on the run from since the end of Ch3 S4 👀

At this point the lore is already so broken that going back to the past again would make everything crazy. Time travel is a fickle thing and using it too much ruins everything.

Rule number 1; don't take out the pump, classic AR, or bolt action sniper. Ever. Rule number 2: don't change my movement mechanics. Ever. (the new movement isn't terrible for no builds, but just unnecessary in builds, AND ITEMS ARE MOSTLY FINE) Rule number 3: don't put over-powered vehicles in the game, like mechs, or cars. Where my golf and trolley carts at fam. And the quad crasher was great, you were a free beam while riding it but it was so fun. Rule number 4: CAN WE HAVE MONO-AUDIO PLEASE? 99 percent of the community uses visual cues and they aren't deaf so clearly its broken or simply shouldn't be allowed in comp. Everyone's got wall hacks, and players with wall hacks have literally been cheating and not getting caught because the visual cues are so good they assume instead of also having wall hacks they just are good with visual cues. Just make your audio better, is was goo in chapter 1..... Rule number 5: DON'T EVER CHANGE HOW THE GAME I LOVE LOOKS. The old graphics and map were awesome, and you can change the map if you have too, but leave the graphics alone, no one wanted that. Rule number 6: Don't put AI's in the game, this is supposed to be pvp not pve... Maybe clean up the stupid menu screen and take out a few hundred more unused maps since half the good ones aren't available anymore anyways (infinite box fights-no pvpt re spawn, or just the normal lawless guy box fight or zone wars, you can only do the box and zone 1. Why has no-one been talking about how their are zero good zone wars maps anymore... And where'd all the good ltms go? Sniper oneshot, jetpacks and shotguns only, solid golds.....

Just a thing We currently are not in chapter 2 like the original that was destroyed We did not travel back in time We were teleported by the rift beacon to a reality thats a peaceful version of chapter 2 So my personal theory is there is another realoty that is just chapter 3 but if the herald won so first thing Chrome is a liquid that can also be solid This type of stuff tends to either dry or decay with time So my theory the c6 island is the chapter 3 island but completely chipped down to a unrecognizable degree and every chrome aspect whent dull With that in chapter 4 season 2 there was this guy called triarch nox that Is part of the last reality he is part of the reason of the japonese theming on that season i think the last reality will send him into this world to use it as a last reality settlement bringing the japonese theme

Here’s what I think should happen: Chapter 3: Rewind 4 weeks, one season per week, it shows us preparing for the chrome queen to make her arrival again, but this time we know it’s happening and are prepared for it so we defeat her and see what could’ve been after chapter 3 was cut short

As awesome as this sounds, i really doubt Epic would do this. It would be very weird and not like Epic to do that, and there would be very mixed opinions on the "new" chapter/map. I believe next November we could definitely return to Chapter 3 as like an OG/Nostalgia/Month long season, but right after Remix? i don't think so. i bet there will be a new map next season for all of us players to experience and have fun on. Not to mention the OG mode coming to the game on December 6, just a few days after the chapters release would make it even weirder. Having 2 nostalgia driven modes at the same time (Battle Royale and OG Mode). Very odd. But anyway, that's my thoughts :))

It is very possible that we could be going to a variation of the chapter 3 map As we are in a different universe/timeline since the Big Bang event But i don't think it's gonna retain a lot of the chapter 3 pois if any. It may have the same layout but with different things For example we have the "Wetlands" biome which could be where the Joneses was and the "Industrial Town" POI could be where the daily bugle or tilted towers was We could also have a japanese market take over Greasy Grove, Coney Crossroads or Sleepy Sound Camp Cuddle could also be replaced by a mascot POI as we know the Japanese love their Mascots and there is a good chance there will be a meme skin in the battlepass that relates to this mascot The desert biome could probably be taken over by the leaked Jungle/Forest biome with the leaked "Sprites" And fortnite loves their mountains so i have no doubt that the winter biome with Logjam Covert and Shifty could be replaced by an asian style mountains biome

You forgot to mention that in season OG Jonesy messed up time causing the big bang to create the chapter 5 map and he cut off chapter 23 and four to chapter 23 and four never happened. So technically chapter 5 was chapter 2, and chapter 6 will be chapter 3. Chapter 5, had a similar storyline to chapter 2 like Midas returning in chapter 5 season two and in chapter 5 season three instead of getting a flood, we got a sandstorm and in chapter 5 season four we got a marvel season, just like in chapter 2. Chapter 6 will probably have a similar storyline and similar map to chapter 3, but probably won’t be the same exact map as chapter 3. Chapter 6 season one might have build up to a war. And in chapter 6, season two there might be a war against Jonesy and Hope. This could even be the imagined order returning in chapter 6 season three we could have a big party just like in chapter 3 season three and in chapter 6, season four, the chrome might make a return, Fortnite has been using chrome a lot lately, which means it could come back in the next year.

Ch3 was just a generic Ch1. Tilted in the middle with Loot Lake. Volcano and Sunny Steps in top right. Desert at bottom. Greasy in same spot. The map was literally a slightly remixed Ch1.
