That's the power of Nanite. No more LoDs. Pure scaling detail, automatically across all distance making everything look and feel just the same at range and close up. Beautiful. Unreal Engine 5 will soon be the singular engine used for games due to this one feature...it'll reduce development times by months! The process of creating different LoDs for differing distances takes SO LONG...believe me...and it's not fun as a designer/artist to do...imagine making something you love, a work of art...then just reducing it to a muddy mess and then a billboard texture. With Nanite no more of that !! Best thing is anyone can try it out in Unreal Engine 5 and play around with it (as long as you have a decent PC of course, it's pretty heavy stuff hehe).

Lo que me gusta de la versión de Switch en esta actualización es que cuando hay un drop intenso ya no es tan duradero ni baja tanto, antes bajaba de 30 a 5 y podía durar de medio a un segundo en una imagen congelada, ahora baja a máximo 15 y la imagen retoma su fluidez mucho más pronto. No como el capítulo pasado que con tantito voltear a ver Tilted Towers la consola ya temblaba xd

Can't wait to see what devs can do on ue5.1. if a visual update to an already made relatively simple game like this can look so good, what can games made from the ground up by dedicated teams look like? Even if PS5 and series x have to lower resolution and polygon budget significantly to get 60fps, with nanite and lumen as tool as well as temporal super resolution (TSR) your still getting what is essentially software raytraced lighting/reflections, a much bigger polygon budget for graphical assets and image quality suited to 4k tvs. Epic really did put all that fortnight money directly into their engine creation tools for the rest of the industry instead of pocketing it for the CEOs and shareholders. I wish every company did that with profits

Fortnite Switch have better texture, better shadow, better draw distance than Fortnite Smartphone. Even playing 30fps or 60fps on smartphone, it's not smooth. While playing on Switch it's smooth 30fps. Switch version is the same with the other consoles version just in low quality. Meanwhile smartphone version definitely different than switch, ps4 & ps5 version ❤. Android can't win over console even to Switch that used SOC from 8 years ago (2015) because it's have customised API, that's is NVN (likes DX12 or Vulkan equivalent) ❤💪

I noticed that after the switch to Unreal Engine 5.1 the Switch version doesn't have as much framerate drop as it did last Season, it's not perfect but it's much better, I was really quite surprised to see this, that for me shows how the new Unreal Engine is much more optimized and scalable. They did a good job on the Switch version considering the hardware, of course, it runs at 30fps, but it has higher quality models than the Mobile version and a resolution extremely close to the Xbox One version.

I was actually very impressed with the UE5 update. The previous engine updates brought some graphical enhancements, specifically in chapter 2 with PS5 launch. UE5 is definitely the biggest jump in visuals, it completely revamped the game. If they continue upping the graphics I kind of wonder how they will do it? Like what is left to upgrade?

Aside from resolution, PS4 looks the best. The PS5 version just has lots of colorful grass added to it, to give the illusion that more significant improvements have been made. It looks goofy and way too extra. The setting itself in PS4 (again, not counting resolution) is more natural.

Realmente no Android tem muito serrilhados, mas tá meio estranho, eu tenho dúvidas quanto a configuração dos gráficos, não parece que o 3d tá em 100% e tá sem textura HD ativado, dá pra notar que tá meio borrado no Android. Essa textura é um pacote adicional de mais de 3Gb! em definição o Android é melhor que switch, mas no switch tem um aspecto mais bonito, no Android não tem vegetação mas roda a 90fps!

En el vídeo está configurado a gráficos bajos el de móvil, aparte de que disminuye la calidad teniendo el procesador de exynos ya que no está tan optimizado como un Snapdragon de gama alta
