One thing to correct you on is the graphics, it is actually a bit different than last years OG season, some of textures were reverted to be more in line with true OG aswell as the skybox is more in tume with how it was when fortnite BR first released. Rhwy also added the OG fog effect to the map which is just lovely imo So overall this time around its actually much closer to OG graphics than last year

6:33 something i hear a lot of people getting wrong is this. Each season will go on until the end of every other month (s1 dec 6 - jan 31, s2 feb 1 - mar 31 s3 apr 1 - may 31) and so on. Season 7 will be on December first and will go until jan 31

Epic really should’ve disabled turbo building, and changed up the loot pool. The current loot pool may have worked in 2017 when the gameplay was more slow paced, but players have gotten better and the loot pool and mobility just doesn’t work with current players

In this case I don't agree with this because this is supposed to be OG so really I think they should have went for 100% og with movement, turbo building like you said, but also loot pool and things like that.

How do you contradict yourself so hard. You first said to disable the turbo building then go to say to change the loot pool to fit the fast pace of the current players. Turbo building is what really allowed players to be fast paced. But either way I think keeping quality of life changes was a good move on epic. Players didn’t even care in the season og last year because it was just a quality of life change that adds a little extra on top.

@@spendingsaucer6428 Removing turbo building won’t be enough to fix everything, as I mentioned before that players have still just gotten much better. If you don’t find anything within the first 8 seconds of the game your done. The loot pool should still be tweaked

I dont understand why whenever the game dying they bring back OG, ok the first time was AMAZING, but they should keep it like that, and we already have reload, they didnt have to make this mode at all, and whats the point of nostalgia if they keep bringing it back, i dont really like the new OG mode, and in my opinon, Chapter 1 is a bit too overrated, everyone is just blinded by nostalgia, it shouldve stayed as reload if yk what i mean Edit: they should make something new instead of bringing back Chapter 1 whenever the game starts dying, like for example, fortnite ballistic, such a good gamemode idea, but og? Don’t play it then. Us OG’s will. Chapter 1 is absolutely not overrated. The chapter gets significantly better with the Tilted update in season 2

As someone who started in ch1 s1, the first season of og is extremely mid. The new ch6 s1 is infinitely more fun

@@techyougoseason 2. It introduced minis, chug jugs, and a mid season update known as the Tilted update. There were 5 new poi’s: Tilted Towers, Shifty Shafts, Snobby Shores, Junk Junction, & Haunted Hills. The entire left side of the map gets a new biome, and introduces many unnamed locations as well such as the motel (Sandy Sheets in Reload), indoor soccer stadium (which includes Lazy Laps from Reload), & yonder yard. There were also some extra houses included. So the map will be filled in with infinitely more loot and heals. To this day the Tilted update remains a favorite update of mine, it was so revolutionary back then. I also think the younger playerbase will start to enjoy OG more when that update hits.
