It would've been so cool if Jones had dialogue saying "Ahh yes, the place where my view on everything changed" then proceeded to tell hope the many adventures and experiences he had and the people he met on this island as the weeks went on. It would've also been cool if Jones made it a side mission for himself to go to the other side of the island and see if something that reasembles the seven is on the other side.

I’ve got a theory: the next few chapters will be themed around different mythologies that are all connected chapter 6 is Japanese mythology according to leakers, and Hope says Pandora’s box is connected to something bigger, so maybe there gonna connect multiple mythologies together? If this is true, maybe chapter 7 could be Egyptian mythology and chapter 8 could be norse mythology

God of War ragnarok did the Norse gods right by giving them all mostly realistic imperfections like Thor being a drunk and fat but still being incredibly strong(which is very realistic still). It was a nice change of pace and i hope fortnite takes notes, especially cause the greek pantheon characters in fortnite had a similar "perfection" issue... and for some reason they fused a gas mask onto hades which looks rather dumb

It's definitely because of her ancestry, no doubt. It's been heavily teased that her ancestry and the ancestry of the other Society members plays a part in this. We just have no idea who they are related too. I kinda assured she was a reincarnation of Pandora, def some connection there.

I refuse to believe doom lost so easily like that, doom is a genius and has beaten way stronger foes than hope and the underground he would've known that just becoming bigger to fight them was a stupid idea, I think he used that as a ploy to make the underground think they won so he could trap them on the island let me explain. He knew that if they thought he was defeated he could focus on taking full control over pandoras box and the zero point, with this power he could create an island which he fully controls without us knowing and he still can use the power of the zero point. We know he can do this because we've seen this with what he did in secret wars with the power of the beyonder. And with the oracle saying a victory hidden within defeat I think all fingers point to this being a island made and controlled by doom. And he's trapped us here so we can't try to interfere with his plan or something. This may be a stretch idk.

Some things I'd like to point out: Chapter 5 map getting abandoned makes no sense. The other four maps all were destroyed completely (Chapter 1, 2, and 3 after the chapter 1 and 3 end events), while the chapter 4 silently crumbled apart after the rift gate was opened in the first season. (which is why we got a jungle later on and then made the chapter 5 island with the time machine as a new universe to move to as the chapter 4 map crumbled). The chapter 5 map was only slightly damaged. Yes there was a desert now and there was the Underworld as a poi, but the island was not falling apart or blown to smithereens. It is important to note the chapter 2 map was abandoned because of the Last Reality invading, not because the map was messed up, as we could not go back to it because the IO command center was flooded and destroyed during the End Event of chapter 2, which meant we could not flip the island back over now that the last reality was gone, and afterwards it was destroyed in Chapter 3. The chapter 4 map was unstable due to being made of other realities and was not held together well, which is why rifts made it fall apart and why we could see outer space from the map. Unlike the 3 seasons before it, the creation of the map left the zero point dormant due to the experimental solution that Paradigm used (which resulted in her going MIA at best), which is why we went back in time to use the zero point to make a new map like how the avengers using the infinity stones from the past in endgame because the current ones were destroyed) Also, the feline friend could be referring to hope (since she has a cat hat) winning against Doctor Doom (who took over the island and stole the power of pandora's box) or it could be referring to the Meowdas of this season. Also, Midas might make it back to the island in this season, since he has regained his old crew, with Skye very clearly being listed as a DOUBLE AGENT. Meaning that she might be doing some spy work for him to take control of the agency again now that the time machine rebuilt the chapter 2 map when it created a ton of new dimensions/islands by being slammed into the zero point with rift energy.

Chapter 4 map wasn't destroyed. It still exists but Jones got us out by crashing the meteor and time machine into the zero point creating a new omniverse.

@NewWhirledSlacker42 it was crumbling apart after the rift gate, that's why the jungle suddenly appeared in the ground. The zero point was also rendered inactive so we just ditched the map because it was only a matter of time until something else finished it off with no solution.

Here is what I think happened: Valoria is in a coma and the rift somehow sent all of us into her dream. Hope is trying to communicate with Valoria by talking to her over her passed out body. Valoria interpreting everything thinking it is a call from Hope. That’s why a lot of things are off about this Chapter like all the rappers.

I think the event being so collab heavy has blinded a lot of lore fans from recognizing that it actually was heavily lore related in some ways. It's clear we're not in a dream. The event clearly showed the rift was used on Hope's paintings, likely because it's a great way to seek answers to her power. Rift Beacons are essentially magic lets be real, she's worked with them before, so it makes sense that in order to discover more about her magic paintings she would try and go inside them. I don't know if it's important that we're on a ch2 inspired island, I personally think this season won't matter in the long run and we're just traveling through it to get to the real meant and potatoes in Chapter 6. But I really don't think fans should overthink this one. The event clearly showed what happened and we never entered a dream. We did what we do all the time in this game, went through a rift.

Quick note hope was on the chapter 2 island but the voicemails werent recorded on the chapter 2 map cause we know nisha is still on the chapter 5 island and we see hope says "Nisha says hi" which proves the voicemails were filmed on the chapter 5 island but then she left them on the chatper 2 island while traveling to the chapter 6 island. In short hope just made a break in the fortnite chapter 2 remix universe left the recorded voicemails and left us so we can enjoy.

I think that the IO will come back in chap 6 cuz they were in LEGO Fortnite in the bunkers I think after the io was destroyed by the seven most of the I/O members and guards henchman’s retreated to the Lego reality and stayed in the bunkers there and will come back and chapter 6, and geno will come back too and be the leader of the IO again

The oracle can predict the future just like hope. I remember someone pointing out that Hope’s outfit has bubbles on it referencing to water and would you know it but the oracle is literally a bowl of water. Also remember the oracle said that she was once a mortal? It could be possible that the oracle is Hope’s ancestor and she may be pandora herself.

Ngl they could've made this really straight forward as something like: Graffiti explosion during the concert (The Rift Butterfly's at the top of it already) > Concert ends > Everyone floats up and gets rifted into the butterfly > Trailer starts showing off the island > Downtime starts (Instead of waiting a day, idk why they did that) Nothing amazing but it just adds some context to how we got there. Edit: They could've pulled from the end of the Travis Scott concert where this basically happens

Although it’s the most fun I’ve had in a while, the storyline this season is god awful. Why is Meowdas letting Snoop Dog posses his Agency? Why is Midas Meowdas? Why is Snoop Dog Here? WHY ARE WE HERE???? Okay I get why we are here but Time Travel can not be a rift. Chapter 2 is not a location. Not a reality. It’s back in time. Not able to be traveled to. Does this mean every time period has its own reality? So what’s the main reality now that the ZP is gone? Who is controlling the ZP because I thought the ZP was always being taken by Last Reality if it’s not being “taken care of” by The IO. WHAT DID THE BIG BANG DO TO DONALD’S LAWS OF LORE? 9:21 HOLY SH** This means Charlie didn’t abandon Donald’s story! I’M SO HYPED OMG W CHARLIE I ALMOST GAVE UP ON YOU YAY!!! 11:25 These are my least favorite kind of twists… If the looper can’t remember the IO and The Last Reality because… they are a looper, then it can’t be in the dream.
