Fortnite's OG Problem

Chapter 2 is starting to become old enough where I would consider it OG, at least the first couple of seasons. Cosmetics from that era seem extremely rare nowadays. Especially considering that the people playing early chapter 2 were pretty much all OG players to begin with.

honestly the best possible (and least likely outcome) is a return to form with chapter six with the vibrant cartoony art style returning, hitscan weapons, and at least 6-8 seasons in the chapter. OG was fun and worked when it happened and don’t get my wrong I think chapter 5 shouldn’t last longer than 4 seasons but I don’t think they need to do OG again and instead focus on making the game fun and give enough time to focus on the storyline for that chapter so players have a chance to get attached and enjoy it

If id be brutally honest chapter 4 was recieved horribly even tho it was good, mega was a dope season and so was chapter 4 season 4 the only bad season we had was wilds but other then that i think chapter 4 was good

I personally don’t really mind them bringing back the chapter 2 map as it has also become kind of nostalgic in some way as it is referred to in the video during the pandemic, it was a great era of Fortnite but I think it should be the last chapter to bring back. Chapter 3, 4 and 5 were (and are) in no way nostalgic and would receive more negative feedback than positive. But still I am looking forward to to play chapter 2 again :) (except season 6 it was a really bad).

I'm interested in the OG seasons at least for chapter 2 now but, idk how well received 3 4 and 5 would be. I'm mostly interested in chapter 2 because this is their chance to do it without any covid delays etc.

I think them making the new battle pass nonexclusive says a lot about the door they're trying to open, especially account selling being one of their problems that still needs to be addressed. the problem itself costs players thousands of dollars in scams and I guess you can make the argument that you shouldn't be buying accounts in the first place, but these players have no choice because epic is somewhat blind the damage they're doing to their own game with bad business practices.

I really wonder why they HAVE to make a chapter for year. Epic, you literally have all the time in your shitty compay's life to make updates, seasons and chapter, why even speedrun these chapters, like whats the hurry? i dont get it, and then when next year we will come to the end of chapter 6 what are you gonna do? "OG cHaPtEr 3"? and then the next year chapter 4? this just seems so stupid to me and its just gonna make these updates less valuable. But what the hell would i know? im just some girl on the internet consuming whatever the algorithm throws at me

ch2 s2 was NOT recieved good at launch, no one liked it, there was no updates towards the end and the season was 5 months, it was after the season we started loving it

@@Man-db6ouChapter 2 happened 5 years ago, more than double the time frame between Chapter 1 to Chapter 2 (which was 2 years). Take it from someone who’s played Chapter 1 Season 1, it’s OG.
