Sakio™ BEATZ I thought PUBG copied h1Z1. Also fortnites been in development for a long time now. They just added the battle royal gamemode like a year or so ago

Edit: fortnite battle royal has been out since September while PUBG was like March. Only like 6 months apart. Fortnite is way different than PUBG doe. It’s free, has a building aspect which increases the amount of skill needed. Pubg you just hop in a car and drive over people lol. The cartoony aspect of fortnite doesn’t give that gloomy feel of pubg either. All in all thats just a few reasons why fortnite is loved by much more people.

They just recycled some presets. Houses, trees, pretty much everything from the core game, and put it all in an island. It's just a matter of programming the battle royal mode and server stress testing. The battle royal mod in H1Z1 was created by the developer of PUBG, sort of like intellectual property.

MarkEz DEZ it’s still not the same. It’s just the gamemode, yet again fortnite is not based on battle royals it just so happens that battle royale is so popular. I don’t know if pubg could ever sue fortnite for the idea of the gamemode. Cause then whoever made all the game modes of shooter games (like team death match, capture the flag, etc..) that you see in games like csgo, COD, battlefield, etc could sue those gaming companies. Sorry Kinda hard to explain what I’m trying to say in a comment.
