I've had afternoon tea there on two occasions. It's really nice. The service was always wonderful and they were NOT stingy with the servings and we got a "to go " bag. Just wish I'd added another piece of cake in it for my hotel room later that evening. I have never had High Tea, I need more room for scones. I love that store. I have a tote bag I love and their Blood Orange Marmalade is to die for. Be sure to use the rest room the hand soap and lotion are soooooooooo nice and you can buy some there.

Fortnum and Mason has such tasteful , high quality food that is not overpriced and always a treat. They beat Harrods anyday and I would not go there after the scandal now anyway. A walk in Fortnum and Mason going up all the floors is always a treat and the bakery counter has so many delicious things to eat !!!

I've been meaning to suit up and try a F&M tea for years. One day I'll get round to it. I love the shop. Of course it's ruinously expensive, but at Christmas it's no-brainer. Giving Auntie Flo a box of PG Tips tea bags would obviously be lame beyond belief, but a box of own-brand Fortnum Darjeeling exudes class and actually doesn't cost a fortune as presents go. I can confirm that the hordes of people in this video are typical of the run-up to Christmas. Not for the claustrophobic!

I'm an Earl Grey fan myself. How did you enjoy the Countess Grey tea? I know F & M also have a Smokey Earl Grey as well. I was happy to get that tip from your server, I was just putting an order together to be shipped here to the USA and think I will be adding the Countess Grey as well.

I didn’t like the look of that at all. My daughter and I have afternoon tea every year for Mother’s Day and so far the best I have ever had was at the Grove Hotel near Watford. The worst was Shendish manor. I was interested in this as it was one I thought we might try.
