WRECKED: WELCOME TO THE SAVAGE WASTELAND! (A Fortnite Short Movie)

Hey, everyone, lead writer for FortShorts here! And yes, we know we're SUPER late to the party here. Eh, I'll let Deadpool explain the situation. As stated before, our Wrecked season will only be 3 episodes long to compensate for how behind we've been. We'll roll right into the Absolute Doom episodes right after that- said season will also be shortened. Thanks for your patience, folks! Jones and Hope's relationship continues to change and evolve...but how will it faire against the new twists and turns of the Wasteland? The answer at the end of the season may surprise you... I really wanted to lean into the Fallout crossover for this episode- while I haven't played the games yet (I bought Fallout 4 on a Steam Sale but just haven't gotten around to playing it yet...), I did watch the TV show and did a deep dive into the lore and history of the franchise. I hope the Fallout fans out there will appreciate all the nods and easter eggs I threw in! (Also, dammit Epic, why didn't you give us Vault Dweller skins? Or even a POI? Total missed opportunity...) As for how Jones knows about things like the Brotherhood of Steel, he learned about them from the Imagined Order's files on that reality back when he worked with them. It made sense that I.O. would collaborate with other morally questionable organizations like Vault-Tec, etc. Yes, even Nuclear-Proof Bunkers need air vents to cycle filtered air in from the outside world, otherwise the people inside would suffocate! As for why said vents are big enough for people to crawl through in our show...uh, suspension of disbelief? Captain Jack Sparrow will play a part of this season's story! I love the Pirates of the Caribbean series and wanted to weave the crossover into our take on Wrecked's storyline! Our version of the character is from between the 2nd movie (Dead Man's Chest) and the 3rd movie (At World's End)- fans of the movies should recognize where Jack before he arrives on the island! He'll have his own role to play in the fight against Megalo Don! Also yes, we are aware that Seasons did actually go that far. They're back! Great video as always, I like the whole 'Mad Max' aesthetic you portrayed the wasteland as (also Megaladon's VA sounds like Immortan Joe lol). Humour is great in this episode, "It's British!" and that Wastelander running away like a Titan especially. Emilie gets more dialogue, thank you for finally promoting her from being a minor side character to her being more involved in the plot. Nice attention to detail on the references, Jones's "Okie Dokey". Conflict between Jones and Hope is good also, builds up more suspension. Great comeback and keep up the quality films you bring!

I see why you're a season behind, the custom POIs you designed for the video are incredible! That bunker seriously should have been turned into a POI at research rock last season. At least publish it on creative, that map would be fire for gun game or FFA. The bunker you built perfectly ties together the best elements of the Wasteland POIs from S3 and the Raft from S4. Amazing work as always!
