Fortuna Center S212 Training Field Day

Chainsaws can be intimidating tools. Picking one up and operating it both safely and properly is not an easy task. But, Corpsmembers throughout the CCC learn in the classroom, then train in the field on how to make appropriate cuts and safely bring down trees. Here’s a look at one of many chainsaw training days at CCC’s Fortuna Center where Corpsmembers learn skills that can jumpstart a career.
