If I recall correctly one of the issue with Black Ops SMGs was their damage was the same and basically most of them (except AK-74u and Skorpion) had the same stats (headshot multiplier, recoil pattern, etc.). The only difference was mags dimension and iron sight. Maybe it is not that way, but I have this memory about a video explaining weapons balance of original MW2 compared to Black Ops with data

You should try the L96A1 with variable zoom (I always used it on the second zoom), whatever secondary, and flackjacket, steady aim, tac mask. I used this class along with uav, counter uav, and blackbird for hundreds of hours and it’s easily my favorite setup from any cod. Love the videos!

It’s funny how weirdly off they got this gun, if you look up real footage it’s a dinky pistol with terrible recoil you definitely wouldn’t want to bring to war. Yet in game it’s dead accurate for all ranges and seems way larger. They should have moved most of them into secondaries like mw2 instead of just having the cz75.
