i still remember a friend always playing with the "infections" he had from hacked lobbies flying around, shooting with a finger gun, 1 kill = insta prestige, super jumps, etc we kept saying to him that he needed to stop or he might get banned! WaW was my first COD and first multi-player. Needless to say, I got SLAUGHTERED, regularly. I'm talking 1 and 7, 3 and 13, 5 and 20 K to D. I think my K/D was like .77 after 30+ days of play time. MW2 was marginally better at around .8 something, BO1 I started obsessing about K/D and I think I had a 1.5 or something around there. I quit playing until WW2 and I could pretty regularly maintain a 2 K/D playing pretty conservatively. Honestly, caring about my score really killed the fun lol.

Last time I played this I got caught in a modded zombies lobby, the hacker set my score to about -2m xp meaning I can never gain any levels now so im stuck at level 1, this must've been around 10 years ago, as I'd already prestiged I can still play but it certainly took any enjoyment out the game, my friend who I was playing with at the time wasn't so lucky as he'd not pestiged and there's actually a minimum level to play multilayer it turns out.

I still play this game regularly on my RGH. One of the main reasons I have it is to derank and ban people that use godmode and noclip. I wish I could be in every WaW lobby to keep em clean but alas I do what I can. Can they use their RGH and rank back up and unban themselves? Sure, but I know it pisses em off and buys some time.

When I was younger I had a very vivid dream. I dont think we appreciated World At War back when it released because it was seen as just a skin on top of COD4 and more people were playing COD4 back then including myself but over time we can all see how this game was a masterpiece. The atmosphere including the announcers and music was just spectacular and it really gave this game a horror like feel. The gameplay was also great and I enjoyed the gunplay and the maps.

Hey Fortunate. I still play this game on a regular basis. The best time I found to play is between 10pm- midnight ET. Very few hackers and probably 3-5 lobbies on a week night. Can be as many as 7-8 on a weekend
