Great to know there's someone stateside making the roll crimpers! I had to order mine from Russia a couple years back because I couldn't find one domestically.

Yes sir. These items look to be a lot of quality products. Makes you wonder how many companies in the reloading community are kicking themselfs, becouse they weren't up to this level.

Great video, very important to use a screw not too long, I was using a screw slightly longer than yours and on wad set back the screw collapses deep enough to pierce through the bottom of the gas seal! I built my assembly jig out of a 12 gauge brass case, the drill jig is a great idea!

Hi Iam in Australia I do enjoy your videos I have found them very helpful. I was wanting to know what size screws you use for the different types of Russian slugs. I have bought all of them. Plus the extra bits from reloader network. Happy loading. Anthony down under

Not all of the products are on TheReloadersNetwork store page yet? I would like to get a svarog centering tool and slug to wad squaring jig. Wish I could get a Taurus Judge hear in Commiefornia. KAG 2020 !

the only shotgun reloading that I do is black powder loads for trap shooting. might do round ball at some point. would it be worth it to use a roll crimp or should I just stick with cutting the shell and gluing the wad in?
@mikedavis25663 жыл бұрын
Just stick the end of a drill bit in the wad and its a good handle to hold on to the wad I use MEC 600 Jr. to set a perfect seat. I got to use a few washer for height to press it in. But no crush on your wad. Try and save you some money. No need for the JIG

I can not find the drill jig. I would love to just order one but if I have to I will make my own.

Where can you buy a Nick Ross 4-pin roll crimper in 2024?

Curious why you drilled through 2 stops in the wad when for the end product the screw came up short of going into the 2nd hole?

@FortuneCookie45LC I tried casting slugs with my Lee 7/8 mold but it just wouldn't release from the core pin. I cleaned the mold, smoked it but nothing helped. I can't figure out what to do.

Mr. Fortune Cookie, Scarcity and curiosity have prompted this question. Do you have any experience using the Lyman 358311 bullet in 9mm? There's a recipe here in my very very old Lyman handbook but outside of that I can't seem to find any reliable information about the bullet being used in 9mm.

@FortuneCookie45LC I got a question about pure lead. I reload buckshot alot and decided to pick up a few jars of the pure lead buckshot from Ballistic Products. Others say that pure lead buckshot will bulge my barrel. That does not sound right as lead slugs fly through my barrel just fine as it does others. Heck our grandparents used pure lead buckshot till the early 60s without any problem. What do you got to say about this?
@rileyneufeld70014 жыл бұрын
I don't see the thinking behind pure lead bulging a barrel? I have heard of bridging between certainly sizes of shot and choke diameters. Which is basically the shot is so close to the diameter of the barrel/choke (collectively) that it can't compress any and can bulge the choke/barrel. I would think a softer lead would help with that though. No clue, I'm just an observer as of now.

How much are the roll crimpers and the jigs and how do we find Nick Ross
@FortuneCookie45LC4 жыл бұрын
The roll crumpets are available at The Reloaders Network at the Store there. I checked the price for you. Price is very comparable to other roll crumpers (a couple dollars more) but the 4 pin design is worth it plus the shell mouth is rolled down to touch and hold the slug - I like that. Good reloading’ to ya, Steve

How can you purchase for delivery to UK as reloading network will not allow me to purchase for delivery here?
Go to the Reloaders network and go to the store. I don't think KZbin allows links to gun related sites. Thanks Dan!

Nick Ross, when are these tools going to be Available??
@nickross1334 жыл бұрын
@@bmeeks6066 the crimpers and other tools are available now at thereloadersnetwork.com in the store. The drill jig is not available currently. Thanks a lot.
@bmeeks60664 жыл бұрын
Nick Ross only the special wad tools are available. Nothing for the zveroboy style slugs. Cookie show 2 different tools, drill jig and alignment jig. When are these going to be available? Video is 2 months old.
@nickross1334 жыл бұрын
@@bmeeks6066 there was a small mistake on the video. I sent the jigs for evaluation only and the crimpers to be available and I didn't explain it well. I'm doing all I can to keep crimper and other items available and just haven't had time to get to the wad tools but I do plan to.

Haha.. I feel kinda ripped off. The centering drilling gig? You know that I thought of that and demonstrated those exact things, however with homemade stuff around the house. It's on my channel. thanks, Nick. oh and btw,, your welcome. -Dave

Did anyone stop you from bringing them into production and deal with buying public?. Ideas are easy, production and dealing with the public is not for the faint of heart.
