One of my mates was a BMW car salesman when they were new, you needed a CBT to ride it, which none of the salesman had, and also you needed a CBT as a customer just to test ride one as well. They didn't sell a single one.

love it hahaha, as much as i love my big bikes i still think smaller stuff is fun, I bought a absolute piece of junk Honda 250 scooter the other year to get to work and back on, it looked totally horrendous but it was £300 and it was pretty quick, then i realized the back wheel was about to fall off as the threads for the removable part off the swing arm were no existent, I fixed it but blee the head gasket a week later. have now managed to find a 2012 burgman 400 for £900 as a trade sale and have been using it daily to commute, still great fun especially on roundabouts where I'm grinding out the main stand exhaust and bodywork, its quick enough too maxing out at 90mph. dont need a massive budget to have fun. great idea touring uk on these cant wait for next episode. 👍

At one point I had a mint gsxr 600 k5 and a short town commute, so I bought a shitty £200 125cc ybr. £300 to get it running, and them my gixxer never got wet. Now I commute on a cbf1000 and my toy is an xvs1300. But yeah, little shit cheap bikes can be fun

samgab it's not a minter has a few small battle scars and think it had done 37000 miles it's now on 43000 after a year and a half, other than a service when I got it only thing its needed was brake pads and a set of new tyres which have just been fitted (michelin city grip £105 fitted), it did break down once as the cable to lambda sensor in exhaust had touched the exhaust melted and would then short out blowing a fuse, once I found out what the fuse was that was blowing it was a 10 minute fix.

A must for such versatile touring weapons is to make them like gold wings and fit a boombox for some toons. That beemer needs an awning for the complete camping experience. The C1 roof construction + seatbelt actually allowed you to drive it without a helmet in Germany (who tend to be a tad ... well ... German when it come to their road safety laws). That was one of the big ideas behind the thing. And yes, sitting in Munich for a few years meant it was a surprisingly common sight.

The side car turns right under braking because the brakes are all to the right of the vehicles centre of mass which means the sidecar wheel tries to over take the scooter wheels that's are trying to slow down. The opposite is true for acceleration. This looks to be a cool little series looking forward to more.
