What I love about watching this guy run his company, is that he really cares for how his employees and their comfort. Because he understands the fundamental thing, that virtually every other employer doesn't get - which is , short term profit (disregarding the comfort of your employees) = NO PROFIT in the long run. If you are too tyrannical even, you might get your people to leave and the buissiness to fail. But what this guy realised, which truely shows that he's actually been a worker hismelf once, he knows how it feels to have a boss who doesn't give a shit so then he took it upon himself to be a good boss. I fucking love this guy. I can't stop smiling every time he cares for his employees. He understood the fundamental thing, which is that, if you keep your employees happy and comforted, by giving them nice chairs, repairing the air-condition the same day it breaks, etc. The people working for you WILL WANT to put in the extra effort themselves without you having to force them. Because they realise what great company it is to work in and they want it to succeed. Trust me when I say, if you are tyrrannical, your employees WISHES the buissiness to fail and everything to go bad for the boss. So yeah.. I wish more employees would understand that the biggest long term profit, is happy employees which comes at a short term price. But long term gain.

Your attention to detail is second to none Dan and I watched your programme in the States last week. You got excited at getting some stickers for your hat. IE I presume your safety hat. On a project for an oil platform for the North Sea I had to do a photo shoot for DNV Det Norse Veritas the Norwegian equal to Lloyds insurance. I asked the guy if they had a DNV Sticker for my hard hat, he informed me his was a water based transfer. He said it was not good practice to put a sticker on your hat as it could compromise its integrity if the glue was solvent based and could invalidate any claim involving a head injury. Funny thing is I can’t recall any of our safety officers having a sticker on there hats.

Well done 🎉🎉, right back to WORK. You should have driver's books for each vehicle either on the road or on a site. that should be filled in Daily by the operator. Put the oil types in there, and they sign each day they have checked the lorry / machine. No mistakes, oil wrote in the books 🎉. My idea to extend the wheel wash up 2 jets that it sprays the lorries doors, your lovely company name clean for all to see !!
