As a fellow 430 owner, if you replace a sensor go ahead and order a replacement pigtail ahead of time lol. Iv had almost every connector I've touched break lol
@ForwardMomentum8 ай бұрын
Good point. While I haven’t had that bad of luck, these connectors can get very brittle over thousands of heat cycles. One firm squeeze and the tension clip can snap or, worse, the entire case can come apart. Coil connectors can be the worst offenders.

I remember seeing some Megan Racing replacement suspension components that completely replace what you are working on without the need to press out the bushings. But sometimes I don’t trust aftermarket components to be accurate or reliable. Replacing the bushing on OEM components although being more time consuming, offers lower risk of the aftermarket parts not meeting the demands. I run FIGS rear ToeLinks on my GS with lots of summer daily driving and HPDE track time and they have held up pretty well. The spherical bearings squeak sometimes but I spray it with some evaporative dry lube. Another great video for the 2nd gen GS community! Thank you! 👍

Thanks for commenting! You’re correct, there are aftermarket traction rods. But that doesn’t solve the squishy old knuckle bushing issue. This method is a fraction of the cost of all that. At the dealer, this would be probably north of $1500 because they would just replace the entire rear spindles.

Sweet Content man! I used your shift kit video to do the same on my Aristo. I hope to see more videos soon. God Bless!

I'm so glad you got rid of the Gadsden flag!!! Good content as always.
@ForwardMomentum8 ай бұрын
I didn’t get rid of it and I still believe in what it stands for: “…an assertive warning of vigilance and willingness to act in defense against coercion.” It has mistakenly been associated with things I do not agree with by others, such as racism. Yet historically liberal-leaning bodies, such as the EEOC, have squashed that association in real cases. That being said, I fly it elsewhere and have simply decided to build up my garage with motorsports-related decor whenever possible.

@@ForwardMomentum Lol. That's the cry we've heard for decades 🤣🤣🤣 You know what it stands for, you know why it sailed from Georgia up north to fight, for NOTHING OTHER THAN OPPRESSION OF ONE PARTICULAR COMMUNITY! I have no problem with freedom of expression, speech, free will, or capitalism... BUT YOU WILL NOT DO IT ON THE BACKS OF OTHERS WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES! So fly your flag, and keep that same energy... Once again great content, but there's need for me to support people such as yourself. "Sweet in nature, yet devilish at heart"

You’re entitled to your opinion in the matter. Unfortunately your history is off. Concluding the intent of a flag based on the misuse of it by others is a stretch. Perhaps you’d be better off sending letters to states that still have it as custom license plate options rather than commenting on some random GS guy’s KZbin vid? Or, sending letters to states that still fly flags with blatant confederate underpinnings? Just a suggestion.

2001 gs300 is there a fuse for the steering wheel so I can leave it stuck in one place?
@ForwardMomentum9 ай бұрын
I am not sure. I would look at all the fuse boxes and see. Surely there’s a way to cut power so it stays.

I did exactly what you are talking about on my wife's 01 LS430. As far as I can tell I didn't lose any other functions.

How rare do you think cinnabar pearl gs400s are?
@ForwardMomentum9 ай бұрын
You can pull up the production numbers by color online. I don’t know where it is or I would share the link. They did 3N1 color code 98-02, so it isn’t as rare as one might think.
