Forza 7 - RIP Honda Odyssey now banned in online public lobbies

The K1 Speed Car Pack has brought quite a lot of controversy with the Honda Odyssey Van whereby quite a number in the Forza community are against it. Personally, I think it's a great addition, until Turn 10 on 26th April has banned the Odyssey for online use, along with most of the SUVs, trucks and Open Wheelers. The Open Wheeler ban is a questionable one.
Edit: The reason for the Odyssey ban is because Turn10 are banning large vehicles as a solution to rammers and griefers in online lobbies.
So here are the final 2 online A-class hopper races with the 2018 Honda Odyssey MPV, it was fun while it lasted.
If people are wondering, all races shown is played with keyboard.

Holy shit, you just gave me the greatest motorsport idea. Everyone races in modified minivans, but they all must carry roughly 7 people, because they are the pit crew. When the minivan comes into the pits for tires and fuel everyone but the driver gets out and does the job of the pit crew, but the driver can only drive off once everyone is back in. Tires and fuel may be stored in an optional caravan trailer being towed during the race.

You could even do one rally style where the wife has to act as navigator and call out turns while the kids freak out in the back of a modded offroad minivan. That would actually be a dope show. Maybe even make brackets where families have to fight families and climb their way to the top to be crowned the ultimate family

All the forza games are fantastic, but they all have one problem. The people who play them. Nobody knows how to use their brakes, and at every corner some one gets smashed it to a wall. They really need to implement a system somewhat like GT sport, so you can avoid getting smacked by dirty players, and so you can avoid them in the first place

If there was flags in game the video owner would be black flagged for disqualification the other guys would also get black flagged that rammed hard. Thats why i stick to raceroom because the community race well. You only get a few dirty players but they shortly get disqualified or get told off by the whole community as actual racing drivers use it. Nobody can race seriously in forza. I verrrry rarely found a race where no one tried to play bumper cars. I feel like there should've been driving clubs you can get into based on a clean racing record. GT Sport actually creates there own ideas of racing cars and rally cars, PC2 has the full roster of Official Le Mans cars and many more... Physics are shit in this game now, what with the super stop grass and oil slicked other grass, etc. And I played every release save for horizons after the first was shit. Sebastian Perez F6 never got updated as far as I know. If something is old, then at one point it was new. So I think every Forza player cared at one point. I won't buy another one until they drop the "for everyone" garbage. It's another case of coddling the minority and crapping on us actual Forza players. I think what Forza multiplayer needs is Gran Turismo 2's collision physics. The cars were essentially tanks and were just nudged in the opposite direction they were hit in. This could lead to other problems and cheesy maneuvers, but at least you can still somewhat be in the race without having to recover from being spun out multiple times as a result of other morons hitting you.

This "realistic racing" games those days should put a option to race in realism mode which if you ram a lot you get banned for life from realism mode and a no-clip, no collision mode where the player could go thru the others cars, instead remove cars and the fun players could have with it. They could make the no clip mode primary as new comers come to the game, and realism mode, a optional choosable mode for advanced players (in other words players that already played the game enough to know this option exist). I mean, you can try to make it "real" but those games ARE NOT, you didn't spent thousands of bucks to get this cars, so you care less than a penny for them, also you will not get charged thousands of bucks to fix your car after it, so the only thing that motivates the people not ram or grief is the seek of simulate a real race. It would be easy and funnier in that way? It's so simple to divide the game like that, so after the griefer rammer get banned from realism, the only mode he could play is a mode where he cant ram and grief at all. Back in time we had games like that and, oh man... It was so fun! So you could top speed! And still not care for ramming another opponent. Now is all about "realism" here "realism" there... If I was a game Dev of realistic racing games, that would be my primary objective. The second would be listen to the players and seek balance from what they demand and what the game really needs.

What does this tell me? That Forza and Turn10 don't know how to balance their races. Want to race an open wheeled Ferrari against a Toyota Camry? Go for it. There are no penalties for ramming against other players so this is closer to a demolition derby sim than to an actual racing sim. This is why Polyphony Digital is still the king of racing simulators.
