Holy shit, you're right, I remember playing GTA Online, it was so much more competitive and you actually needed skill to be the best, the noobs were dying at every failed corner, except it there was catch up. The physics were not very accurate, but at least quite satisfying and had some grip "simulation".

Xypleth ya it ain’t realistic at all there’s little glitches in the game that make the cars go slightly faster like curb boosting and clutch kicking. It’s crazy how it works. And always turn catchup off

@@CAepicreviews Yeah sure, but at least you couldn't consistently wallride aka cheat, and there were proper route racing only, not some stupid free roam rush aka win by driving across the country and dodging trees in a supercar (and you better not have RWD, because who would drive a RWD supercar, if there's AWD... It's ridiculous) It's such a great game, otherwise, but these dumb choices ruin it for competitive multiplayer, and no I don't want to play Forza 7. Horizon 3 introduced me to a open world racing on PC, finally what I always wanted, multiplayer was okay-ish, and then came Horizon 4....

I don't know WTF Playground Games was thinking when they made the whole game "team" racing. It just promotes dirty driving. So with an utterly broken multiplayer, the fact that they removed proper rivals, and no Single player championships, gives this game zero replayability. I'm highly disappointed and will not buy another Forza title until after game release so I can see what bullshit they put in the next game.

I've never ever got so angry watching multiplayer videos/playing multiplayer games lol. I mean asphalt 8 had its own bugs but the players were nice, trackmania games don't have any contact between the cars (lol) and RR3 races were somewhat clean but forza games seem to be just an absolute ramfest

Forza horizon 4 outsold nfs heat nfs hot pursuit remaster gt sport on its own which is crazy to think about for one game which is also a Microsoft exclusive. You probably never played forza but the actual driving mechanics are far ahead of any other simcade out there, what makes it bad is the same thing that makes every popular game out there bad, the community.

I was in a circuit race where I started off in either 2nd or 3rd. I went about driving normal, the very first turn, (that I tried to take normally), I was smashed into the wall by people who don't care to slow down, causing me to drop to next to last. It's frustrating. The next time at the same turn (after gaining a few spots), I wall rode, just to avoid being smashed. And I hate that about MP. It's like the only way to avoid dirty players is to be a dirty player yourself. There's no incentive to drive right.

@@lukemmurphy795 I'll tell you what's the difference. In Forza 7 you can't wall ride, and even if you cut the corners you're still slower than average. It has actual tracks with track limits and unforgiving friction. If you made a mistake on a corner you'll mess up big time and lose more positions...and its actually difficult to be a professional driver unline Forza Horizon. So yeah, racing in Mototsport is way better than racing on Horizon. At least in Motorsport, there are tire walls that will not allow you to wall ride or cut corners in some tracks. Also, penalty systems are coming to FM7 in the future i guess.

Starting last is very advantageous on some tracks because you avoid being torpedoed into the first corner, and while they're busy accelerating from 0 due to the pile-up you can simply overtake the sea of ramming morons on the inside line.
