biggest tip i can give is to keep rotation to 900, just play with outside steeting deadzone to get the perfect rotation value, i bumped down from 100 to 38 for on road, 80 for off road, 20 for drifting, this way based on condition you will be able to change in game , rather than wheel application

For what ever reason it feels like the back end on every car (fwd,rwd,awd) kicks out at the slightest bit of turn (think a 3 on dirt rally) I have to down shift what I think is too many gears to try and correct it and by then I'm getting passed by everyone. I still have steering as Standard and have tweaked a bunch of builds. Using a G923 if that makes a difference

Mate!!! I've had to pause mid race to comment. This is the best my wheel has ever felt!!! Was getting so annoyed, game was nearly uninstalled! Sooo happy with these settings thank u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.s I think the 360 movement setting on PC has helped alot, if other ppl have issues, make sure u've done that (and got updated drivers)

I was so happy to read the comments that it wasn't just me. Like many others I was beginning to worry after spending hours tweaking settings, but the biggest oversight I had was stability control being off.. I've always played with sim handling all assist off but the stability control was a huge fix for me ( G27 ) It's honestly playable for me now, so thank you! amazing how a quick step back can make you see such a simple issue! will play with the handling modes ( assisted / standard / simulation ) and see what that brings to the table. I don’t do a lot of off roading, but you won’t get much difference out of changing your wheel settings. You’ll need to adjust your cars tune just like you would when building a drift car

for me the best settings is with the wheel damper to zero, and center spring to zero. In forza horizon 5 details it states that these 2 settings should be at zero for the logitech series. It worked for me, i also have stability and traction off.

Im on Xbox with a G920 seriously for more realistic settings try this..... STEERING LINEARITY - 32 VIBRATION SCALE - 0.1 FORCE FEEDBACK SCALE - 0.8 (or adjust to your preference). CENTER SPRING SCALE - 0.1 WHEEL DAMPER SCALE - 1.0 MECHANICAL TRAIL SCALE - 1.0 FORCE FEEDBACK MINIMUM FORCE - 0.5 FORCE FEEDBACK LOAD SENSITIVITY - 1.1 ROAD FEEL SCALE - 1.5 OFF-ROAD FEEL SCALE - 0.6 I have been messing with it for a week and this is the best i have come up with..... When I’m in advanced controls I don’t see a lot of these settings. Force feedback isn’t there. Wheel damper scale, mechanical trail scale etc. Do I need to enable something to have them appear? Update: so I figured out the wheel settings only appear if you disconnect your Xbox controller, otherwise they remain hidden

It just so happens that the settings they have on it are already just about perfect for feedback as well. I should also correct myself and say the wheel did work with the "controller disconnected" message but there was no force feedback.

If you are using Logitech gaming software it may be the issue🤔. I didn't have anything below vibration scale either then I uninstalled Gaming software , installed GHUB and they appeared. Not sure why but that seems to have fixed my missing settings. Hopefully it helps you. Cheers

Hello. I have the Xbox series and the G920. How can I adjust steering sensitivity or steering angle in Forza 5? Unfortunately, the steering sensitivity adjustment is not available in the advanced settings of Forza5. e.g; I want to make the rotation angle 270 degrees on 'Xbox series s' how can I do it?

Going to try this tomorrow, I was about to give up. My car just does 180's if the wheels touch anything but pavement, and even on pavement it is impossible to get out of a slide, that is not normal for an "arcade racer" (or even Dirt Rally with no assists). Also the clutch support appears to be broken, I can just shift without even using the clutch so the pedal seems to do nothing.

I agree too its hella tuff to drive offroad/wet-roads just starting up this game with default settings. the gears switch should scratch if u you cant shift without the pedal clutch but the game lets it slide sorta, at this time if you shift without the clutch the car will rev up to the max rpm losing power in neutral for like half a sec switching into the next gears not recommended when you get into any kind of race. Just remember to use the clutch then ;) and go back to slapping gears in the open world haha. keep playing with ur wheel setting im getting my settings more improved everytime i play around in the options so far!

@@HelpCloud I can say I have it dialed perfect now, its like a whole new game and plays perfect with a wheel. I have used multiple youtube help videos, but primarily mechanical trails scale should be maxed to fix the spin out issue. Also I had my setting set to "clutch" not "clutch w/ pedal" that helps at least put it in N when I press the clutch. Who ever heard of a clutch without a pedal???? Anyways this game is a blast with a wheel once fixed!

if ur goin over 150 mph ur car will bottom out at any corner you try to take the slightest right or left hand turn while going fast your car will start to spin out and hard to regain control.

I was having problems with Forza 4, so annoying to the point where I was considered quitting. Then Forza 5 came out, and people said really good things about it, said the wheel programming had been re-coded or whatever, and it's great now, and I damn near bought it outright. Quite shocked to find what is said here in the intro. I thought it's gonna be just a settings video. So the wheel issue actually hasn't been solved for G-series wheels?

You can't change settings in the G Hub on Xbox because it doesn't support it. I released a new video that covers the changes and I now run the wheel on 900* rotation and it works great since the patch.

For those that have a Thrustmaster wheel, I set the max rotation angle in the Thrustmaster desktop app to 720, not 360. I also set wheel damper and center spring to ZERO. This helped tremendously. Off road is still a shit show.

I used Emuwheel and the settings they have by default make it feel like the real thing. One thing though: the instructions say for Forza 4 hit "mute" on the program. Forza5 is "unmute". I have no idea how people are just plugging in their wheels and having no problems here. Everywhere else I'm hearing constant complaints that the Logitech wheels aren't working right.

I had the same problem, what fixed that issue for me is to just start the game and replug your steering wheel , suddenly it feels a lot smoother en more 'logic' dont know if this will help for you but give it a try! let me know if it helped, also be sure to have the G HUB installed and make adjustments to the center spring , mine is only at 9 out of 100

Off road if you have traction and stability off, practice throttle control if you start to slide literally can't touch the accelerator in most cars, this feels a lot better than fh4 no matter what! Drifting Feels far better on g920 bog standard feels a lot more real than fh4, less play in the settings which kinda sucks though... People are gunna find it hard to drift on this as it isn't as slidey and a lot more life-like hahah!

Not at all. It gets worse on off-road where I struggle to keep the car on track. I feel it requires a lot of wheel rotation (unlike F1, Forza motorsport that require minimum steering) to navigate each corner which makes me slower.

I don't think they are ever going to fix the issues because that's been an issue since they released 4 and they haven't fixed it then they arent fixing it still so they're not going to fix it at all as far as I can tell I even heard that they're not doing it because of how it interferes with the controller which makes absolutely no sense because it's never been a problem until number 4

Hello my gas and braking is good I dont why my turning so bad i have crazy spin wheel even though input 360 degrees logitec app and i lose control every time is there any way to fix the steering issue the steering is impossible to keep control and it is not turning the wheel enough even though i turn wheel full 180 please let me know thank you

@@avo4soccer And that's your problem, your car is understeering. Just like in real life you have to brake before the turns and let go the moment you start turning. If you don't brake while turning and your car is still understeering, you have to fine tune your car and if you don't know how, search on YT (it can be very overwhelming) or just download one and see if it's better. I could also make you one if needed.

There is a fix related to the game bar, try google I'm sure there is a thread somewhere for the fix. It is related to the game bar though

sad, this seems to work on PC users but on Xbox i'm still having some issues to drive properly, the options of Steering sesivity is not avaliable aswell as the G-hub degree rotations: On xbox u can't change that. if someone knows a good set up for console i wll owe my happines

Sounds like in game settings and not your wheel. Do you have Stability control, Traction control and all of that on?

Ya, the hotfix took care of a lot of the issues. I made an updated video that may work out better.

Is anybody experiencing wheel shaking even when driving in a straight line on a flat surface? I'm not sure if this is to simulate the engine or if my wheel is faulty. Also during cutscenes my wheel will occasionally spin left and right for some reason. I drive a God damn 2 cylinder hatch back and have never been over a 100 k/m so I have literally no idea if my wheel is working correctly or not.

Get it where you are driving around. Otherwise if you access the settings on the main splash screen, a few settings do not show.

It is a great purchase, the wheel is a good time. They are working on a hotfix to solve some of these issues.

@@Luceium01 i have it set up, i used his tuning in game and it feels good, but i left the rotation in the g suite software to 900. Anything less and it doesn't match in game

They are now that the hotfix is here. The video and settings worked well BEFORE the hotfix was available.
