Forza Horizon 5: Launch Control Tutorial! New Feature + 3K RPM LAUNCH

How to use the new Launch Control Feature on Forza Horizon 5! (Works in manual mode). So glad to see this finally be implemented
Hold the break (Whole time)
Rev
Change the gear to 2
Rev again
Launch Control will be initiated. You can now drop back to 1st gear and proceed to launch!

Is the rev limiter different on diff. cars? I got like 1.5 ->2k rpm on the two i tried, def. limited compared to not holding the brake. My revs is bouncing at full with no input/idle... A small amount of gas or holding the brake calms it down tho.. Feels like the idle rpm is 9000

does anyone know why my car doesn't rev when I hold brake and gas at the same time? just nothing happens with the engine and also the clutch doesnt work while its on and set under proper button..

I absolutely hate this, I drift with manual and no clutch, so basically I simulate clutch kick with handbrake, and it always puts my car in to this launch control mode in middle of drift if I press handbrake and change gear… so basically clutch kick is nearly impossible if I’ve changed gears.

The game is still in early access. Give it a week or two for the series 1 update. Their definitely going to be tweaking some things.

It does it constantly to me when I’m racing and it just makes the car bog out and lose control since it locks my rpm to 2k until I get high enough speed in a lower gear to cancel it. Would be nice if they let us disable it but they probably won’t since they can’t even get the steering in the game working right (unable to full lock steering on controller because apparently that simulates understeer??? Like the devs haven’t driven a car before… swear to god)

Just rev it in the first gear, seems like second gear only allows lc, not sure btw

No so once it’s initiated, lc is in any gear! If you wanna disengage it, drive forward and it resets

Launch control in fh4 was better cuz u could use the clutch to change what rpm it would Launch at. Dont see why the made it worse

It’s actually borderline broken when using manual without clutch since it can activate randomly when switching gears causing your car to big and be unable to rev until you clear it by going to first or 2nd and getting your speed high enough otherwise you can’t rev at all

@@RPHD26 for real bro I seen this kid edit the 2step on the mk4 Supra and it was blowing fire 🔥 then I bought the game and seen it wasn’t actually like that… damn.. BUT, the wheel physics are fixed for drifting finally! So I’ll take it haha
