Forza Motorsport is an upcoming sim racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios. It will be the thirteenth main installment in the Forza series and it will be released on Windows and Xbox Series X/S. Although it is the eighth Forza Motorsport title, succeeding Forza Motorsport 7, it will be a reboot for the titular sub-series, dropping the sequential numbering from past entries' titles. It will use the new Xbox Series X and Series S consoles to render higher definition graphics than its predecessors. Forza Motorsport is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2023 and a Early Access only release on the 5th of October.

fh6 is almost certainly going to be incredible and probably new gen graphics, but FM8 looks ugly, FM6 is much prettier than FM8, FM8 is a disappointment both graphically and in terms of content... So far they haven't fixed that damn rain that turns everything into plastic 😔

Lighting wise it looks exceptional but RTX just makes the road a freaking mirror. Also at 0:40 you can see insane ghosting in the RT reflections of the wipers which looks so bad👎 Not worth the performance hit imo.

Does leaving dynamic resolution on mean your system can change the resolution quality for framcerate? Good thing you leave DLSS off for this test. But still you have dynamic resolution so no "fixed 4K".

whe u use the predeterminated the g usame e the dynamic quality and change the resolution and the presets automatically but when u use the custom setting, only use the one that you choose in the andvanced video section c:

The raytracing in this game looks awful. And its not the only game with this issue. Many raytraced effects have really bad ghosting/artifacting that muddies the image. There's also a weird latency where the time it takes the raytracing to render doesn't match what's going on in the game causing further image degradation

FM at times really looks amazing, and at times it looks meh...But overall, it looks really good, but GT7 simply looks way better in general...HOWEVER, when it comes to gameplay, especially with a wheel, FM is way better than GT7. It feels raw and a lot more engaging. You can feel and hear the car and the track talking with each other! GT7 is more somber and classy

@@crazietech1984 It's not even just about always online; bad enough for many but these games get bricked when the servers are turned off. As someone said, 2016 graphics so still good in 2026 when you pull the game out for a trip down memory lane but you realise its been cremated and buried. That's the main reason I bought FH5; it's single player too.

It certainly needs a lot more work, but it's definitely not horrible. Despite its flaws, it's so much fun to play. Besides, Turn 10 planned it to be a long term racing platform with long term consistent updates and tweaks and new features and cars and tracks...etc, that's why they dropped the number 8 and just called it Forza Motorsport. It just released less than 2 weeks ago, and they already made a couple really good updates to it, so it's improving as we speak. GT7 needed 18 updates to get where it is now

Driverclub pudo ser un magnífico completo de Gran Turismo Evolution Studios eran especialistas en hacer juegos de carreras, además sabían exprimir el potencial de PS 4. La lastima es que no vendió bien por no tener la popularidad de GT yo mismo lo tuve y en mi amplio círculo de amigos decían que si no era GT no les interesaban , una pena no abrirse a otros títulos que merecieron más como Driverclub.

Idk man. Something about this just seems a bit arcady, compared to GT7. I own PS5, Switch, and PC (RTX 4090), so im not biased towards anything here. But GT7 does seem like the better sim racer visually and gameplay wise. Forza looks almost a bit dated? I mean, this still looks alright, but there's just something off that I can't really point to exactly.

Sony convinced gamers that a realistic driving game must be slow and somber with a fixed chase cam like in GT7. That's true when you're driving a normal car, but if you're driving a race car, it's raw and chaotic. It's like you're trying to control a monster. GT7 doesn't nail that feeling when driving sports cars, it actually feels weird to me. Forza however, gives me that fix Even if you play Assetto Corsa Competitzione, which is one of the most realistic racing sims, the race cars there are insane. They don't drive graceful and classy like in GT7 Go back and watch forza Horizon 5, that's arcadey!

@@TooToo246 yes GT7 is not real when it comes to gameplay either i just meant that its a more serious approach to racing and less arcady than FM, this new Forza in normal mode the gameplay is very arcady like Horizon 5 but in simulation mode with some aids in sport mode i find it much more serious and close to GT7 for example

be realistic, this is nothing compared to GT7. Watch any comparison and see for yourself, the physics and graphical fidelity of GT7 is too much. Either way, still glad for forza fans as they get their new game and it is looking pretty nice.
