Not by a long shot. Asseto, iracing and even gran turismo has the most accurate road (asphalt, elevation, tree types and positions, etc). There are several comparisons with real photos. Forza is the least accurate

Without open track days this games dead. There's a lot of players hanging on to fm7 just to be able to play online. Not everyone has time to qualify and other nonsense we just wanna hop on a track and freely race other real players

A couple of years ago I was playing PC2 on the Nurburgring, at night. When I was around the carousel section I crashed hard and I lost all my lights...driving pitch black in that track, maybe at 50km/h max, It was hard, even the huge straight at the end, you barely saw the apexs,

Honestly I have to give them credit the Nurburgring is very nice and I’ve noticed my game is crashing a lot less. It used to crash and take for even to load my garage but now it hasn’t crashed and only lagged a couple times. Hopefully this marks the time when FM started to turn around for the better

My game has been crashing every time I start up a custom race. It loads showing the track and everything then the game crashes. I've only been able to do test drives and not normal races, its irritating. The entire time I've played I never had any problems, then new update comes out, new track, new cars, now I can't even use any of the cars or track. FANTASTIC👍👍👍

Great to see the Nurburgring back in Forza, although the developers should have given us a track configuration without flood lights. The Nurburgring in Gran Turismo 7 has some campsite lighting here and there, but the track is pretty much in the dark without any flood lights.

I`m happy they added the ring, but I`m just as unhappy about the floodlights, even if it turns out to be true that those lights were added to the real track... I hope they add an option to not have those lights later on (which they won`t)

Maybe they added floodlights because there are some cars ingame, which don't have headlights... Playing without floodlights wouldn't be fun in evening/night settings... But maybe just an unpopular oppinion

@@stephanschmid411 maybe, but as far as I`m concerned the whole point of even wanting to race at night is the thrill of attacking an opressively dark Nordshleife... The version we see in this video is vary well iluminated overall, which defeats the purpose of racing during the night, since it`s nearly as well lit as it would be during the day, and I`m guessing the reason there are cars with no headlights is because they are only meant to race during the day IRL (or in well lit tracks designed with these cars in mind) My opinion might change after some laps around the track ingame, but as it stands I`m not thrilled with the decision, and would vary much appreciate it if they add a layout that isn`t lit up at all, for those who prefer the darkness

thing is if you know the track well this is easy one of the worst virtual Nordschleife's period. the curbs are WAY too big, the hump before flugplatz is not smoothed out (like in the Rf2 version of the track) and the camber of many corners is just wrong. Assetto Corsa, iracing, Rfactor2, raceroom and gran turismo sport/7 all have far superior versions of the nordschleife. they carried over alot from FM5, as far as i am concerned this is the FM5 nordscheife with some new trackside props.

Why have night races if your going to add lights on tracks that dont have lights? Part of Nordschleife apeal is the night races, the darkness creates a unique racing experience. Why have night races if you put flood lights everywhere? Come on Turn 10, stop trying to remove difficulty from your games. Night races? Lets make it easy to see!!! You came in 4th place? Really, we are at a point where we are complaining about floodlights on a track? I drive the ring regularly. Forza 7’s ring was pretty damn accurate in terms of general look but most importantly turns and feeling of elevation. I’ve only done 3 laps of this new version and it still feels good. I don’t want to race the ring in pitch black. No gamer does really. If there were no lights playing this in multiplayer your lights would be gone by the end of the 3rd mile and you’d be quitting the lobby. It would not be fun. The game still has to be fun and use some artistic licence.

I tried today the new track with the 1991 BMW M. I was not surprised to see that the car implemented front-wheel drive, as when you accelerate, the noise of the car goes down. Forza Motor Sports is way worse than the mostly negative rating. I am not sure why somebody would use it; kinds below 12, perhaps graduating from Forza Horizon 😅
