Something good with the spec series is that the tuning is limited. I like when the race is decided by the driving and not by the tune of the car I wish they limit tuning to the "main" races (Forza GT, Forza TC, etc.) Just like GT

My biggest concern about FM, the penalty system, and that is about it. OK, some of the bugs would possibly annoy me if it wasn't for the penalty system, but it really is my biggest gripe. First race in 4 days (been setting up AC). Qualified, took my time and aimed for rear of the pack, started 15th. Thought this would give me best option. Boy was I wrong. 3.5 seconds of penalties because 24th decided he was mosses, smashed me into the main bulk of the pack which then caused all the others to pile up and spin out. He ended up in 3rd and no penalties, me and about 5 others all ended up with 3.5-4.5 seconds worth of penalties. We all left the lobby at that point, no point in continuing 😢

Despite issues (which need to be fixed) I can't stop playing FM. I actually enjoy the career mode structure because it allos me to use many cars. It is true that Forza Horizon playlist has more variety of events but less opportunities to use several cars that I have collected but doing nothing. FM is pure racing. GT7 career mode is really boring and a mockery attempt of what GT4 was, but fails to come even close

Really? I’ve barely used any new cars in this forza compared to others. It’s best just to use the highest Pi car available because of the upgrades. Especially in open class events I just use whatever I’ve already upgraded because there’s no point in making a new car.

@@markuschief4472 To me even when you pick whatever car you like it’s not that fun. I don’t find the single player enjoyable it just feels like a grind for every series. It just feels like too many races and too many laps every time. Even when you do upgrade a car to be good enough with maybe a race left the PI just raises another class and it feels pointless. Especially when there’s not a lot of events, variety, or tracks. I’ve tried to play from mid to highest difficulty just to get a good balance but you’re either way a mile behind the AI or way too fast.

While I play career mode consistently, there is much I am dissatisfied with. The way to gather part upgrades as you've discussed, ot enough LPM, formula, GT car options in career mode. While I like the building/getting to know your car, it needs to be re-vamped. It takes wayyyyy too long to get to 50 car level. They say 2 hrs, welll I dispute that. They're taking way too long to release new tracks and cars, especially since in both cases, these cars/tracks have mostly been available in previous versions. While I prefer historical/real life tracks, I would be ok with newly created tracks. You would think with so much that has gone wrong with this game, there would be a campaign by Turn 10 to at least attempt to off set the troubles and regain users/confidence in the game.....release more tracks/vehicles in more timely/consistent manner. I for one LOVED the car auction option in MS 7. The different variations of the tracks is a feature I love so with new tracks, have multiple options. There is much to like with this game and this is why I am remaining loyal and YES, it overall remains one of if not my favorite race games (yes, I know I 'm a minority in this opinion), however, it's extremely frustraing and my loyalty is certainly being tested. PLEASE Turn 10/Forza Motorsport, I plead with you, I WANT YOU TO SUCCEED SO OTHERS SEE AND DON'T DISMISS ALL THE GOOD YOU'VE DONE with this game. I feel its a critical yet short time, where its still relatively early to fix the many issues, campaign to regain confidence/users, before this game is forgotten dismissed by the masses. GOOD LUCK Turn 10, I'm still holding out hope

Turn 10 can't be faulted for previous games, the amount of challenges in previous Forza games is great. If Turn 10 manage to turn the 'Mostly Negative''rating generated on Steam around I'll seriously consider Forza Motorsport worth buying. In the interim I'm nowhere near finished with the three excellent Forza games on 360, increasing the new games difficulty was unnecessary.

All this content but no mention of bug fixes. Hopefully that's just an oversight from whoever did the update news otherwise more people are going to stop playing. Waiting a month to get any fixes is bad enough but waiting two? Not good enough. It may be good to have Daytona back but it should've been there at launch. It's just more cut content that T10 can use to drip feed and keep player engagement numbers up. I love the racing (when you aren't being rammed) and won't be quitting playing but making this a live service game was a terrible idea.

Look, I get that the track and car update team is NOT the fix problems team. So, it is unfair to say that they should STOP putting out new tracks and cars and focus on fixes since those two teams don't take anything away from the other. However, what is important is the perception you give people that you are NOT going to address their issues anytime soon... and putting out tracks and cars with minor fixes does exactly that.

My G923 is ruffly comparable with other games like Automobilista 2 and Asseto Corsa Comp. Maybe harder to adjust FF? So not sure why Kireth is dishing the steering wheel use?

Sooo the career mode cups at least for this month aren’t limited to a week each to complete. Not sure if this will be for JUST Italian Challengers. Hopefully none of the new career tours will be time gated anymore. Other than that I expected little. Car pass cars are great though. The rest are recycled and fixes should take all priority if that was possible.

This games as a service trend is ruining games for me recently. I understand why it’s a thing and yes you’re constantly getting new content with it but not every game needs to be like that. At this point forza motorsport 5 is better experience then this new Motorsport. It’s gonna take ALOT of work on turn 10 to turn this game around and make me wanna play it more. I fear that they will look at the amount of work abandon it after a year then just be like “LOOK A NEW MOTORSPORT BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP TO FIX 2023s DISAPPOINTMENT”

I get it when you said " is what they want me to say". On to the facts it's a normal add on that they have to rescan & update then add it on to the existing problems they have not fixed. Remember GT6 when Mr M dropped the ball on the title. ? Took the money made a racing team & went racing qith the money & tossed us an updated 5. Weeeeelll this feels alot like that but with less tracks & fixed car models. You can always look at the livery layer system if it has the same problems as the last title it's an updated version not from the ground up lie. But I still race all racers but just not as much. No one can support a lie or cone back with the same passion after one spits in your face. Just saying.❤ keep up the good work.

I've been playing mainly in career mode lately. I was really excited about the new update especially the Lancia Delta. Until I saw the intro. The Lancia badge looks so bad, it honestly looks like it was drawn on with an Echa- sketch!! Obviously just copy and pasted from I don't know Forza 3! Just appears like there was minimum effort applied. Also the progression system. I've currently 4.5 Million in credits. Yet, I had to slog through the AWD trophy with my Lancia Delta for 2.5 hours to get the required score to unlock the upgrades. Having to do Practice mode for every race just kills all the fun. Once I completed the AWD challenge, I couldn't be arsed to the rest of the challenges. I might try another one at the weekend.

The matchmaking is godawful I’ve maintained an S safety rating and am 4750+ skill rating but have been having a hard time surviving lap 1. I don’t know if the good drivers are driving the faster cars or touring or GT but my lobbies have been full of rammers. I prefer to drive the slower of the 2 open classes

Forza feels like it’s created by a corporation. Gt7 and the like of ams2 feel like they are created by people who love to race. This is the problem. Who uses the car they’ve been building in their garage as a theme for a motorsport game. One is a hobby at home, the other professional competitve sport. Folk need to get racers to direct the games design And content, and not garage enthusiasts. Yes both involve a car, but golf and basketball also both involve a ball. And why oh why do I hear dolphins instead of tyres screeching in Forza 🤷‍♂️

All the contrary: in Forza Motorsport you can actually feel the racing. It feels real. On GT7 it feels fake. The cars look all shinny but the racing is dull. GT7 is a car museum, but not much of a great racing experience. And I am a GT fan since GT1

The tire sounds doesn't bother me much. I actually think it's better than FM7 where the tires sound was unbearable (i turned the tires volume to the minimum)

I think they should just remove the chat system and add MFD so it will be easier for drivers while they’re in a race instead of going to the option to select TCS or ABS and also the tires category needs to be organized better like street tires =hard/medium soft.sport=hard/medium/soft. Race=hard/medium/soft and also the pit time to change tires and refuel extended and to forget race radar😊

Forza score = 2/10. Not optimized for PC at all. Visuals on PC is super sad, it can't even render at full monitor resolution. Nor can it run more than 60fps, during online race!? More content is of no value if the driving, game mechanic's and poor wheel force feedback is not fixed. The driver assistance is so overpowered, many console players set it to max and let the game drive itself for hours to gain xp... Release more content, the game will be dead in 6 months!
